The battery in the Rain Bird timer is dead if you lose program during power outage......change the battery every time you change smoke detector batteries, or twice a year.

It says $80 on the website: www.orbitonline.com/rebates/ which is more than the price for this one I bought (4 zone). I applied online and attached the screen capture of my receipt from Amazon but haven't received a check yet but I expect the rebate to pay for itself. Thanks.

The power adapter cables are able to connect either side of the "24 v in"? I notice one side has dashes and the other has letters and numbers.
Did you shut off the power before installing it?
It wasn't plugged in
