Generally prefer the fit and feel of Rival stuff to Fly, but totally agree about the knuckle area on the Flys - near as damn it perfect. I think a Rival Guerrero with the knuckle of these Flys would be my absolute dream glove.
Great video, thank you! I got the RS11V's and absolutely love them ! Good solid glove in every way.
Great gloves I really like them 👊🏼👍🏼
Is there no padding on the face of the Fly glove?
Anyone got recommendations how to buy some expensive gloves. I want to buy some decent ones in the sub £200 range but feel like I need to actually put some gloves on to make a decsion. Any good stores for facilities to try on gloves like these in Manchester?
I got the rs100 but i don’t like the wrist, it’s too thick. I’m thinking about getting the fly superlace x
Great content and comparison ,
Keep it up.
I was wondering ,
In your opinion . As a sparring glove,
The Fly Super loop X is good for hard hitters at 160/168/175 ? For both comfort and protection ?
Definitely yes
glad you are enjoying my channel
i have a charity bout come October given it's not cancelled. Due to their insurance restriction, all contestants must use 16oz hook and loop gloves. I haven't had a pair of 16oz hook and loops for a few years now (I always used lace and loops and gloves were provided at amatuer contests). I'm considering the Fly Superloop X 16oz (strange having a "bout" with 16oz gloves and cheeks headgear... more of a hard spar really).
My question is, the wrist support appears different than the laceup version... is this true? Are the wrist inserts the same as the lace version? If not, how would you compare the loop to the lace? Cheers mate!
The super loop X wrist is good I feel you can get a tighter wrist with the lace version but that’s the same on a lot of versions -super loop X are excellent gloves
Wich would you recommend more a cleto Reyes velcro or the rivial glove I'm this video

Both are in my top ten Velcro video I did 👊🏼👍🏼
Never tried fly gloves, only ever tried 1 pair of rival and they were the most comfortable I've ever used.
great video.
Do you think they are a good option for small hands? I currently use a 14 oz rival rs11v and for me it is perhaps a little big, do you think these 12 oz fly superlace for example would fit more in small hands like mine?
Good matchup! Got the Rival and I absolutely love them! I reckon that the match easily could have ended in favor of rival but we all know how much you love Flys! :)
The Rival are great gloves, these match ups are for entertainment and to give my preference but it’s all subjective and I hope they allow viewers to pick the best glove FOR THEM 👊🏼👍🏼thanks for your comment and for watching my channel🙌🏼👊🏼👍🏼
Can the RSV11 be used as a general training glove? Bag work and sparring?
There is a bag version and a sparring version
Called it. Still love you RS11V. Hang tough Rfx fight glove.
I've always had problems with my knuckles. So the most important thing to me in a glove is being able to make as natural of a fist as possible. The Rival RB5 is actually the best for my knuckles on the bag, just because I can have a perferctly natural fist in these. That in mind, would you recommend the Fly Superloop X or the new Adidas AdiSpeed glove to me?
For the more perfect natural fist I would say Fly X
Out of the two
@@Fit2BoxGuess I'll go fot the Fly X then. Or do you think there would be a better glove out there for me in that price range?
Monolith Ferrari I think the new Adidas and the fly x are the top 2 gloves in that price bracket
Just wanna say 👍 another great review
Thank you! 🙏🏼🙌🏼👊🏼👍🏼
I have both of these gloves 🔥🔥
What would your score be?
Fit2Box tbh the same as your score very close but I’d say fly is just a bit better
hmmmm 1v1 gloves / adispeed or fly synthetics hmmmmmmm
Decisions decisions 🤔👊🏼👍🏼
have you made a decision? can't go wrong with rival rs11v. but i am open to those brands.
Yohanes Pradono I prefer the Fly X to the Adispeed, better knuckle area. Still a good glove but Fly is better.
Yohanes Pradono rs11vs are amazing if you need the wrist support. They are the only Velcro glove that is more supportive than a lace up, that I know of at least.
Big surprise...The British guy overrates and awards the win to the British glove.
Have you tryed both gloves
@@Fit2Box Yup and they are about even. Where I think you missed is in the following catagories:
- The Rival glove is significantly more stylish
- The Rival glove is a better value. The little Pounds vs Dollars trick was misleading as intended.
That said you DO have the most comprehensive reviews on YT!
@@handsofstone1887 pounds and dollars trick
So you accuse me of bias and doing a trick with the cost as if I was trying to decieve🤷🏻♂️
I do the channel to help people decide for themselves these head to heads are for entertainment purposes and show all the glove features
It is just my opinion
Everyone has different tastes so hopefully people can pick the best glove FOR THEM👍🏼
1st one here 🥊🥊😁
This is definitely bias
Why? Up to this contest Rival held 3 Fit2box belts and Fly held 2 Fit2box belts🤷🏻♂️
So by that count I’m bias towards the Canadian Rival Brand 👀
@@Fit2Box 149 is better than 189 alone
infamousnova
the round is ‘Value for money’ not ‘which glove is cheapest’.
Have you tryed both gloves?
If so what is your score?
If not how do you know I’m wrong 🤷🏻♂️😆
Biased? 😂😂😂😂 oh yeah because the one you were rooting for didn't come out on top so therefore it's biased.
Fit2Box reviews equipment & expresses his views. In title matches, it's HIS opinion that counts, because believe it or not, it's HIS channel where he expresses HIS views based on HIS experiences & knowledge. If you prefer the other glove then go buy it, go use it & stop bitching because you don't like the outcome. This channel is a knowledge source, not gospel, so treat it as such 👍
infamousnova I don’t believe his reviews are bias at all, I believe they are fair, he doesn’t say a glove is better due to its brand, he reviews it based on the glove itself.
And I don’t think you know what value for money means, if I bought a £30 synthetic glove, and a £140 synthetic glove, if the cheaper ones were done in a month and the glove quality was bad, and if the more expensive ones lasted 3 years and the glove quality was superb, the more expensive ones are a better value for money, value for money doesn’t mean cheapest.
There will never be a substitute for leather.
Well there is right in the video
