Despite being a rock singer with such a high pitch he just managed to maintain such an angelic sweet voice too! Maybe I didnt have much time to be the big fan of Chester when he was alive, but still even after all the artists I love I still admire Chester as my most favourite singer ever.

On the other hand I also am an STP fan and agree with you that Scott Weiland was absolutely the man for the job lead singer of this group because she is absolutely incredible in his own right and no one can take that from him! The only difference is I feel you are statement may have downplayed Chester Bennington and he is definitely up there in his own personal skills as a singer that no doubt are just as good as the top singers! Frankie Phoenix same here. Chester killed this ! He wasn't trying to copy Scot at all. He was just bringing STP what he had while trying to serve Scot justice. Not easy boots to fill but IMO.. Chester did a fantastic job.

This is so heartbreaking. Those all beautiful souls are gone and they understood each other so much. They were singing the same meanings all around. Highly sensitive, beautiful people are so underrated. We need more support, love and care for each other. All this things with neurodiversity and mental stuff are coming up now, maybe there is hope for humanity...

First off, I like to say RIP Scott Weiland. I do like this cover, and I feel bad for Chester. He cared a lot about Scott as well, I'd like for Chester to play a concert in Scott's honor. I would love to see it.

Scott was destroying the band with his actions, and although we all love Scott, everyone knows he had drug problems. It's his bandmates and friends that had to deal with problems the drugs created, while we just sit back and assume that he was fine. He wasn't, he was destructive, just the fans never were able to see that side of him. We all love him and he will be dearly missed, he was an amazing singer and person, but sometimes things just have to change because they aren't working out.

OK !!! WOW !!! I never ever even tried to listen to STP after Scott was fired (or whatever?). I did not like LP and yeah I am not gonna be a dick, I liked the scream Chester had, but I didnt like the sound of LP. So for years I never even gave them a chance with Chester. Well after Cornell died i saw a video of LP with Cornell and I was amazed ! wow what a combo of singers on the same stage and I cant stand LP !!! how can this BE!!!!!!. Anywhoo, now a few months later and here I am listening to this and my jaw is dropped. Wow ! Chester is 100% on here, I did not know he could sing like this. So I thought STP would be LP vocals on STP songs. Quite the contrary. Now looking back to that LP with Cornell show and hearing Chester here... wow. Theres an energy I say to the people out there, I hope you can see thru all the BS and be wide eyed to be able to view the reality of things. Weve driven a lot of things to the ground where are lot does not exist anymore and it hasnt really been a gain to anyone but a selfish few. This is what it all is fucking about !!!! AMEN!
Scott in his prime had such a powerful voice. It's hard to listen to anything but the original cut of this song or any other songs. If live, I at least have to watch from around the time of the original recording.
