It was part of a show that someone recorded in Shreveport 2005. They played Save Me a few times in 2005 as far as I know, maybe 3 times but it was very very rare to hear it live and this is the only known recording of it live!
Thanks for posting this. I saw them do it live at Toad's Place in New Haven CT on the ODR tour. At the time they said it was the first time they'd done it live. A group of us were screaming for them to play it and Myles and Mark looked at each other and shrugged and said sure. They actually looked excited to do it. It was amazing.
@garcia1dallas I got it from someone who had a bootleg of this show (Shreveport 2005) on AlterBridgeBand forums, as far as I know, this is the only live recording of the song, they only performed it a few times in 2005.
Yep, definitely special. Did you go to the acoustic show at the Hard Rock in Foxwoods in 07? I have the vids on my account that I took there. They debuted the Blackbird material. I only missed Broken Wings because they started early.

Anyways, sometimes B sides are the best stuff, they just don't meld with the rest of the cd. It was very cool to hear it. On that tour Myles wasn't playing any guitar so he could concentrate on the vocals and they were amazing.
I think they might have on the later legs of the one day remains tour when they only had one album of songs (11 tracks, I believe) to play and they were headlining. I went in Feb 05 to see them, and I remember them playing everything form ODR then some covers (including rock and roll) and I'm pretty sure this as well. I remember something from a movie that wasn't already on ODR.
