- Hi, I know I've been away for a long time, partly due to university issues, however I wanted to resume the channel, in this case with this video that would be the last of the "Subgenres" series, in addition to informing you that from now on I will make videos with different themes (related to music, obviously) in my language, which is Spanish.
A good part of the genres and bands was taken from sites like RateYourMusic, Metalkingdown, among others. In addition to the encyclopedias made by the Sindelay channel, videos that are in Spanish, but that I highly recommend since they explain more details about these genres in addition to providing more recommendations:
Sindelay videos:
Enciclopedia de géneros del Rock: • Enciclopedia De Los Ge...
Enciclopedia de géneros del Punk: • Enciclopedia De Los Gé...
Enciclopedia de géneros del Metal: • Enciclopedia De Los Gé...
Just to add, if you liked the video, subscribe, if you can go through my Instagram, what should you do when I'm active and that, greetings.

Disclaimer: I'm fully aware that there are many subgenres of rock. But i'm just gonna keep it brief with the obvious ones.
1. Psych rock: It's just rock with tripper sounds, and hypnotic rhythms.
2. Prog rock: It's just rock that incorporates jazz, and classical elements which makes it more complex.
3. Art rock: It's just rock that incorporates avant-garde elements.
4. Hard rock: It's just like classic rock. But just with more distortion.
5. Southern rock: It's rock. But it has a southern twang to it.
6. Punk rock: It's rock. But it's just with more faster tempos.
7. Glam rock: It's rock. But with a good sense of fashion.(And it's often mistaken for glam metal)
8. Alt rock: It's rock. But it's less commercial with its jangly guitars, and chiming riffs.
9. Heartland rock: It's rock. But with more of an american blue-collar feel to it.
10. Goth rock: Similar to glam rock. But it's just more grimmer, and darker.
I love Noise Pop. Underrated genre.

Love this genre it was like poppunk is pop+punk but this is poppunk+pop
Can someone explain to me why that track by Rings of Saturn is Technical Deathcore and not Blackened Deathcore? Is it perhaps both? Is the vocal style irrelevant?
itself, because the whole song sounds more technical.
Hey Robert Station please do all Pop Music Subgenres Urban Music Subgenres Country Music Subgenres and more for me and everyone else please
In the future, it may be possible.
@robertbronson8209 Just make it happen please
You forgot ocult rock
New Wave isn't Pop Rock, it's just Rock but very eclectic, AOR and Heartland Rock aren't Pop Rock either, but they combine a lot with it, on the other hand both Piano Rock and Soft Rock (Yatch Rock's older brother) are definitely Pop Rock. Why is there only one song of any band per genre?... There are bands that I would have liked to see classified into more subgenres like The Beatles and Pink Floyd.
You forgot pirat metal
1:20:52 🤔hmmm....I personally don't think that linkin park are actually a nu metal band.
if they were
@@elrincondeljarcorito ummm...What?
@@americanliberal09 from 1996 to 2003 can be considered a Nu metal band
@@elrincondeljarcorito But their music doesn't really sound metal at all.
@@americanliberal09 If it sounds, By myself, faint, from the inside, one step closer, qwerty, etc. they are very metal, linkin park is a band that plays metal
where nsbm
Not on the list like it should
