I am an NFL fan who have been watching the CFL games this year. Wow! I have not been disappointed. The CFL games are faster and more exciting. This appears to be the case for almost every CFL game. The level of player skills for both leagues are about the same. The NFL is a larger league due to the seasonal weather advantage as Canadian winters an be brutal for outdoor sports. Hopefully, the CFL will market itself towards more teams near their southern border. As an NFL fan I can say that the CFL is the greatest show on turf. I'm a CFL fan as well - wish more games were televised.
Thanks for the support. I watch both leagues but I love our Canadian game with it's bigger field and different rules. Especially the overtime rules because both teams actually get to play overtime. I think the NFL could spend a bit of time watching and then copying some of the CVFL rules. BTW we also have bigger balls.

And many times, when we text, the "brain" in our devices attempting to "correct" us when we're attempting to express or explain something that we're typing on the keyboard pads and when we read over it and send it, we tend to come off to the readers as an idiot because it appears that we have no idea what we are talking about. It's happened to me many times, but in this case, it was probably just a typing error. ✌️

They deserve to leave their beautiful stadium with a confidence that they have a contender. B.C. vs MTL yesterday was a fine game. This one was GREAT!

The rules and the pitch are very different in the CFL and the two biggest knocks I hear is that most games are boring blowouts and that no lead is ever safe because you can score so many points so quickly. I was merely pointing out that this particular game was as good in a competitive sense as any NFL game. If you don't like CFL football then by all means, don't watch it. I was sad to see my team lose, but, it was a great game. That said, the officials need a lot of work. The vicious head butt should have been an ejection, and, the riders 2 point convert in OT was actually clearly trapped on the turf, and should have been an auto booth review. On to the BB!
All scoring plays are automatically reviewed and I slowed down the footage and he had control of the ball before it touched the turf. He had a hand cupped under one end of the ball and had it secured with the other. It was just close enough. Pause it right at 11:36. He has two hands on the ball before he touches the turf.

There was a 2nd and Goal play that had the QB just tucked in the ball and try to run in for a TD it might have been a success. Instead they pass and fail. I think they got a successful FG but which QB of which team? Anyone remember?

Riders win: closely contested. Riders lose: absolute blowout. They've had one close loss, and their best win was like 5 points. Just a very average team that will probably make the playoffs but lose early. Their consistency is TERRIBLE.
As a Cfl fan, the CFL overtime rules are good, but they need a 10 minute ot period because games without an ot clock is exhausting and also it would be best to start a kickoff in ot. (If the team that received the football gives up a rouge or a safety on a kick off, game over. If the offence scores a touchdown, they could choose the easy way or the hard way,(PAT of 2 point conversion) and the other team has to match it if down by a touchdown and an extra point or go for it all if they are down by 8. Defensive pick six or fumble for a touchdown after the offence chose the ball first, game over. If both teams match the number of points, we play on until the final play of the game. After both teams match, if the kicking team kicks the ball in the end zone, game isn’t over because the other team can win with anything, lose on a turnover or tie with a rouge on a punt or missed field goal on the last play of the ballgame.
I take it back, the team scores a rouge on the first kickoff in overtime, the other team can match it with a rouge, win with a field goal or a touchdown, or lose with a turnover.

the refs sucked the game ngl, there was definitely a fumble recovery touchdown, and they didn’t call a flag on that obvious OPI.
