@blahblah8471 well I meant it in the sense that he didn't win any major trophy(apart from and fa cup and a couple community shields) until he left arsenal
What a terrible comparison. This is no real rivalry firstly with spurs and Man United. Secondly, United would never win the league with Kane haha. They need a lot more than just him
@@alexendo2955 he wanted to leave bcuz they made him feel like they didnt care about him. I think ashley cole said the same. He choose man united later

I'm an Arsenal fan and I don't hate RVP or even Cesc. They both had a burning desire to win the league and were at their prime. Even Titi left the club to win the big trophies on offer by moving to Barca. Your insinuation is wrong.
It's all Joey Barton's fault! 😅 Hear me out - The previous season: If Barton had just left the pitch after being red carded against Man City, instead of putting on a show, which took him about 10 minutes to leave the pitch, there wouldn't have been so much extra time added on, QPR would have held City to a draw, there'd be no Aaaaagüeroooo!!! moment. United would have won their 20th title and Ferguson would have retired then. Moyes wouldn't of had a hope in convincing Van Persie to move to United and probably went aboard to Spain or Italy.

Not actually what happened. Arsenal never offered him a new contract as he approached the end of his existing one; this is what made him start to look at other options.
Arsenal didnt want to renew his contract. And everytime he played arsenal he was humble and never celebrated but still arsenal fans booed him and burned his arsenal shirt so on one match( RVP) Robin Van Persie celebrated vs the gunners with all his might.
Wouldn’t sign a new contract with Arsenal because they never actually offered him one 🤷🏼♂️ I think it’s quite tricky to call a player a “traitor” when the club didn’t do much to make him feel wanted as he approached the end of his contract, including the simplest thing of actually offering him a new contract!
Van Persie is the first footballer that I ever knew as a child, so he has a special place in my heart. I don't hate Van Persie at all, in fact, he's one of my 3 favorite players of all time, alongside Ozil and Sanchez. So, imo, the silent majority of gooners don't actually hate van persie, its just the noisy fans, we actually loved him, even when he left for man united. Tbh, arsenal was pretty mediocre at that season after henry left , so if i were him, I'd probably make the move to manchester. Btw, thx for taking care of RVP you united fans :). I wouldn't call him a traitor,I call it life,if he wants to succeed in football he has to change teams I bet Arsenal fans still hate him to this day😂😂😅
How is he a traitor 🤔 I support neither United or Arsenal but he gave Arsenal many years, in his prime he played for Arsenal… winning only 1 🏆 he knocked back many clubs over the years staying loyal to them and with the lack of trophies he wanted to leave like many many players do… and then he won the league with United… That’s a not a traitor, that’s just someone who wants to win silverware…
Arsenal chose not to give him a contract. He refused to celebrate a goal at old Trafford, refused to celebrate a goal at Ainfield, after which fans burned their shirts with his name and number on them, and only after that did he celebrate a goal against Arsenal.
Van purse string was injured practically all the time until the last 2 years of his contract 🙄 Hi finally showed us what he could do and on the back of that 30 goal season, buggered off to Manure
I love how arsenal just wanted him to sacrifice his final years staying with a club who was only concerned with paying for the new stadium as opposed to putting it into players or squad to win silverware. I am a liverpool man and understand. And well he one the league didn't he? Yes he did, even tho I dislike manu, I am always happy for career players who finally succeed. No hate from me. Wish RVP came to us tbh. But you get what you pay for, or in this case, you get what you over-spend. Manu have slipped into a real difficult financial predicament which I am completely happy to see.
