Wow that was incredible. Has a Grandma? The only thing I would be concerned about when you're out.Even 30 seconds is your lungs.Beginning to freeze , so you be careful and don't push it too far. I've never heard of it.Getting that cold −40 is the most.I've heard so wow that's amazing. Take good care of yourselves.❤❤
Well that was extreme. Hats off to the Ford Transit for starting on first crank at -60c and being able to drive. Heed the advice of other commenter’s, think of your health first not vlogs.
The childlike energy was so off the charts in this video. Erin's oversized black and white sweater is what we all need in this life. It was giving major Harry Potter vibes for me. You two look like you were made for one another. Great job with this video. 😊
Y'all are so cute together. First off, I want to say that the teamwork makes the dream work .for sure yalls got it. But at 9:46mark. Am I the only one who's like don't catch the freaking paper plate on fire?.🤣😂🤣😂 Maybe it's just my mom instincts kicking in but oh yall kids scared me. No disrespect. I'm just 40 something years old and oh the paper plate by the stove was given me anxiety.😂😅 But yall got it. You knew what to do
❤ It's extreamly beautiful landscape, but I'm happy that I'm watching it through your eyes and sitting in my warm livingroom 🥶😬😅. It's so nice to see you and Erin again though 😃❤️✨️
Use wool blankets to put over your engine after you shut it off and take it off before you start it back up. Also, when the sun comes up open your hood so the sun can warm it up, but make sure your hood is pointing towards the EAST. I lived in Wyoming and these two things helped a lot! Also use hot water bottles in the bottom of your sleeping bag
Amazing adventure! Those temperatures are pretty dang cold to say the least. It’s awesome that you turned ice cream and so many other cool things! It’s cool that you guys were both out there. Very cool scenery as well. One solid video, brother.
❤❤Wow thats cold. Enjoying your videos as always Stay warm and safe. I know being that cold can freeze your lungs. Safe Travels. We had almost 50° here in Kansas yesterday after a blizzard we had a few weeks ago. ❤❤
And we have the warmest winter since 1914. It’s spring weather now. And we need frost of minus 20 at least for 2 weeks so that our trees and plants could stay healthy (the diseases/fungi die).
At those temperatures you should be very worried about the oil, coolant and fuel freezing. It could seriously damage your engine and leave you stranded!
You wear contacts? I never knew that! You remind me of my former boss....he knew everything about everything....and so do you. You are quite the intelligent person! You go from something as simple as boiling water to building a cabin in the woods by hand! Knowing about electricity, to building a snow fort. Your parents must be so proud of you! You are rare. You just don't come across people like you very often. Just curious - did you go to college? If so, what did you go for? (bet you graduated early and at the top of your class)
Other than the odd Russian video, I don’t think that I have seen someone document the extreme cold, so close up and personally as is the case here. Great video. I have seen people claim to camp in ridiculously cold weather like this, but they aren’t able to show the anecdotal evidence like the extreme hoar frost on the river bank, or diamond dust etc. Yes, this was the real deal - it just makes me laugh at all those fakes that have been going around recently.
OMG! -60 is the lowest that thermometer goes. Brrrr! 🥶 Now that's vicious! How can you stand it??? When it's that cold, it doesn't take but a few seconds before it literally starts painfully hurting your exposed skin. I could barely handle -20 last week. Jack Frost wasn't nipping at my nose - he was downright biting it!
you know youre using the can opener wrong. if you hold it with the twisting part on top then twist the lid will come off with the can opener and you wont get that rocking can motion like its gonna tip over as you go.
Careful of your lungs and carbon monoxide poisoning, other than that we LOVE your videos, have never seen anyone with such an eager smiling face toward adventure, makes your videos super terrific to view! Best to both of you! P.S. Never even knew it got this cold in America! 😀
I love your adventures. Been watching since the Ford that go taken out by the plow. I tried camping in my Ford Explorer, but was too short for my height. You've mentioned you're tall, wondering how tall and if you have a recommendation for boots. I can't find good boots anywhere. Sometimes being tall sucks! What size are your boots?
Only 5 hours between starts has proven reliable with this van. In the case where it didn’t, the diurnal change is vast here (day/night temperature swings) and would heat the engine to a more reasonable temperature. I just wouldn’t be able to drive around until later.
Good lord. I too love winter, but you're pushing the safety there man. I know, I know. You have multiple redundant systems, been a fan for a couple years now (more ice caves please!), but man. That van doesn't start, you blow a tire, it's concerning. Old guy prattling over, it's awesome to see your gf uhm, warming up to the camera life!
is your girl or the girl just naturally quiet?? or does she just lay low while yer making your video? hmmmm. how cool if you'd sing more while playing your keyboard. love to both of you- Julie ♥
I don't think you know how to ice fishing vary well. But being from Texas, I don't think you qualified to teach about cold weather several. Sorry, but what makes you an expert? Just asking?
I only ice fish a couple times a year, but I camp in the coldest/snowiest available weather every day of every year. Certainly no expert though. Always seek out multiple resources.
@TravelersTale i like your videos. Just do not want you and your girl to get hurt. The cold you're in is no joke. No body need to get hurt making videos. Just be safe and have fun.
Her lashes covered in snow is soo pretty ❤️💯
The best sound ever is hearing one’s van start when you are a frozen human popsicle. 🥶 Love your enthusiasm and Erin is a real trooper!
Wow that was incredible. Has a Grandma? The only thing I would be concerned about when you're out.Even 30 seconds is your lungs.Beginning to freeze , so you be careful and don't push it too far. Definitely a good caution to heed!

Yes. It’s been brutally cold. Your videos are always exhilarating! Your zest for the outdoors are amazing. Stay safe Everest.
Honestly amazing your van started!
It amazes me the Birds always seem to be just fine in that kind of weather. Says volumes for down feathers.
I hate the cold or the heat! I like when it's in the middle🥶🥵
How funny the bird is watching y’all 😊
Can't help but wonder where the little fella is finding food and liquid water around there. Must be a resourceful little guy.
When you said “this is Angel Dust” I was so confused why PCP would flying around in the air. 🤣😂

That's the adventure 🌨️🌨️
Good to see you back. Thankyou for braving the extreme cold. Stay safe
You need a small ice fishing shelter. Help maybe keep the hole from freezing as often too.
❤ It's extreamly beautiful landscape, but I'm happy that I'm watching it through your eyes and sitting in my warm livingroom 🥶😬😅. It's so nice to see you and Erin again though 😃❤️✨️

Wow that's amazing great video.
I had to turn the central heating up watching this lol Stunning place!
6:31 Learning more here than at school😂😂Love your vids!

That was a fun adventure!! I enjoyed seeing that hot spring, and your fishing adventures! Even if you didn't catch anything, you made a corvid friend!
And we have the warmest winter since 1914. It’s spring weather now. And we need frost of minus 20 at least for 2 weeks so that our trees and plants could stay healthy (the diseases/fungi die).
I LOVE Wyoming!!!
Thanks for your comment. Now I know where the camping took place, before I watch the video. (That wasn't mentioned in the OP's Notes for this video).
Damnnn broo
Video was so good 😭👌
The sceneries my god 😇
Love the extreme weather videos.. beautiful country. Thanks for sharing!
You are a very lucky man, cherish that woman dude
Seeing you outside in that extreme of temps with no hat on hurts my ears lol gnarly
At those temperatures you should be very worried about the oil, coolant and fuel freezing. It could seriously damage your engine and leave you stranded!
At CFS Alert, the most northern military station in the world, vehicles outside are never turned off. Only when they get indoors.
Thank-you for sharing.
Amazing video.
Keep Warm ❤

Awsome video.
Imagine the pioneers trying to survive this in the back of a covered wagon.
From what I've seen oil can freeze and damage your engine at those temps! Great video but def be careful!
I live in south central Louisiana and we had 9 inches of snow this past Tuesday! ❄️🤍❄️🤍
Even positive 60°F would still be too cold for me lol
love your content. Would love to know how you make the ice cream.
LOL @ crow hanging around.
Need a diesel heater plumbed to a 5g tank with anti gel in the tank!

I almost froze to death watching your video...
Absolutely
OMG! -60 is the lowest that thermometer goes. Brrrr! 🥶 Now that's vicious! How can you stand it???

Oh cool
Amazing your vehicle still operates in those temps . You must have all bases covered . What if anything fails or breaks down ,What then ????
It's not amazing; it's a Ford!
Ain't no way!
you know youre using the can opener wrong. if you hold it with the twisting part on top then twist the lid will come off with the can opener and you wont get that rocking can motion like its gonna tip over as you go.
At -60 oil in the motor can freeze.
Are you near the Tetons?
It’s beautiful there but very cold
Careful of your lungs and carbon monoxide poisoning, other than that we LOVE your videos, have never seen anyone with such an eager smiling face toward adventure, makes your videos super terrific to view! Best to both of you! P.S. Never even knew it got this cold in America! 😀
And I thought it was frigid in the northeast at 7° !

I have bogs boots (size 13.5). They’re perfect for me
@@TravelersTale I need a 16, so will have to check and see what they have. I'm 6'6" so, everything is an inconvenience. How tall are you?
Waiting for your best vedio 🎉😅
And what would you have done if it had not started?
Freeze, and call 911 for help!

@@TravelersTale What city or town did yall sleep in there in Wyoming? I'd love to visit there sometime, the views are great.
Living in Minnesota, I'd be nervous if my survival in the extreme cold relied on my vehicle starting.
what is the name of the waterfall and ice canyon?
Surviving -60 Degrees in a Van...well darn... I want a different type...didn't survive..lolol.
A video on things I will never ever do. Definitely not for me. Fun video to watch though. The homemade iced cream looks fabulous.
As a Canadian I laugh!
Go meet up with Sebastian stonum!!
What city or town did you spend the night in there in Wyoming?
You need a 8kw disel heater for that size van in such harsh cold.
I am very curious about the insulation in your van 🤔
first comment🎉
Absolutely crazy 🤪 😜 luckily you not only have a female to have body heat from but extra heater and so lucky the van started!!
👍🏻🌹💖💪🏻
😍😍💪👌
Your GF is so helpful.
Get married with her dude ❤❤

You really should be wearing a hat and scarf outside.
I do.not know why they go out in such dangerous conditions. Your poor lungs.
The bird is lucking food .
🤍
is your girl or the girl just naturally quiet?? or does she just lay low while yer making your video? hmmmm. how cool if you'd sing more while playing your keyboard. love to both of you- Julie ♥
Why not seek proper shelter? And you’re encouraging people to do this?
Im not bashing. Just bring real.
Why didn’t you feed the bird? Oh, so greedy:(
How do you know he didn't? They don't record every single thing. 🙄
I don't think you know how to ice fishing vary well. But being from Texas, I don't think you qualified to teach about cold weather several.

Jesus dude! If you're gonna bash the kid at least proof read your atrocious grammar skills or lack thereof 😮

yes your videos are much more better explaining 🙈

@@ogvanlifethis I agree with
I just don't get the paper plates, what a waste.
Frozen pipes
It’s only -60 because you stuck the thing in the snow
😂
@@TravelersTale love your vids. I watch them at night before sleep.
