The first video in 2025 and life goes on, congratulations Rob. Rob, the guardian of the American pumps. I like seeing the RX of the pumps working. I hope you understand me. Happy 2025 for all
Fully understand you and agree! Thank you very much for following my videos for so many years. I look back five years ago and read your nice compliments. You definitely have a special appreciation for old gas pumps like me. Happy New Year Eduardo 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Oh yeah it stunk up the entire garage building that night!!! The best part about it was I noticed that the mice and rats left the building that night 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching
YEEEEEEEEESSSSsss! ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉love it. Nothing like seing this old pump running again. I absolutely love this. Great job. Keep up the wonderful work. Happy new year! 🎉🎉
Wow,,you got that old pump working like new ,,actually I think it was putting out better than the new ones ,,awesome video Rob & have a Awesome new year 👍👍
nice job but I thought those calculators were actually called computers at least that was the understanding as I remembered when I restored my 1938 Tokhiem great job
@@randymacsgarage Thanks 😊 Gilbarco called them calculators in the 1930s in fact the porcelain face plates say CalcoMeter on them. The later models equipped with the 12 inch “Veeder Root mechanisms were named Computers . I appreciate your question and comment. Thanks for watching!
You did a fantastic job getting the pump to work.. these are the kind of pumps I like, the older gas pumps are 100% better than what we have today. Today's gas pumps may work but they don't have any style or good durability.. I'm excited for more videos!!
Pump up for New Year's I like that. And since you said it I won't say it 😔. When you said that I thought you had it in that little bell 🔔 sound effect but then I realized it was the pump making that ding sound 🤯
Hello Robert. Unfortunately no parts are available. I had to resort to my gas pump salvage yard for a few miscellaneous parts. Gilbarco is still in business but they don’t have any gaskets or hard parts for these relics. If you watch the video closely you will notice a small leak. Inside one small seal is seeping a bit. It’s not available but maybe I could find a generic seal if I wanted this to be 100 percent leak free. Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy New Year to you.😊

Our entire town has no power. It’s crazy I can get a 90 year old pump running but my generator has exhausted me tonight working on it after work in the dark.
Happy New Year everyone 🎉

Great original pumps Rob!
I'm glad you think so! I like them, too. Thanks for watching and commenting Jeff .
Happy New Year Rob. Great video seeing the old pump working again. I miss seeing the old pumps work being a teenager in the 1960's.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching. 🇺🇸 Happy New Year and Happy Memories of our past.
A little bit of diesel goes a long way! That pump really pushes a good volume of fuel.
I know! These old pumps move a lot of fuel . I was surprised 😮
I hope to be running even remotely as smooth as that pump @ 90 ! 😂😂

Great! This makes me want to try it with my Bennett and Martin & Schwartz clockfaces!
