Damn... It's quite obvious this guy has done this once or twice. Fast, efficent, clean. Keeps his knives sharp. That trailer is really set up nice. The transition of the quarters to the inside is smooth as hell. He did in 20 minutes, by himself, what it takes two of us an hour to do! I remember my dad cutting the feet and splitting the carcass with a hand saw. We now use the same thing he used for that. It appeared that he kept the tounge, but not the liver or the heart. We keep both. Love liver and onions, and I dice the heart and roll it in flour that is seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, then brown it and then put it in the oven and bake it low and slow in a brown gravy. Very excellent over egg noodles or mashed potatoes. Thanks for the video!
I used to live in Connecticut (yeah, I know) where there are a lot of Italians. A heart recipe they used resulted in something called suffrite. Not 100% sure about the spelling. I suppose it was cooked on the stove top with well seasoned tomato sauce. The only way I ever had it was as a sub and it was delicious.
I’ve never seen a butcher work before. This is a complete game changer for me. I have more respect for the processing of doing this job. Great job sir.
impressive. You two work good as a team. Its obvious you've done a fair few farm kills. Good trailer set up. There's a couple of ton swinging in that chiller trailer.
Seen this hundreds of times in just this fashion. He is very proficient and skilled. Mix that with some experience you have this. Very clean and well done. Thank you for respecting the craft and skill.
Very impressive! We butchered our first cow of that size a few weeks ago on our homestead, and let’s just say it took a hell of a lot longer! We didn’t use a sawzall, and the tractor could only lift 750lb. What was on the towel that you wiped the hind legs with?
I can see skill when I see it and seeing he wasn't talking and totally IN THE ZONE and seeing him use the knife I knew right away he was taught the old school way and he is a master at what he does. Very impressive he only got shallow on a few spots of the hide moving at that pace. Very impressive
I frankly didn't want to watch this video, however I am glad I did. So impressive. I never had any idea how to dress a whole cow. I don't have to say it, but, to you Sir are one of the best butchers.
Deer and elk often are put down in incredibly difficult terrain and foliage and not a pasture paddock next to a butchers trailer setup. Way different circumstances but this man and his skill still deserve total respect.
I'm sure that perhaps there's someone more skilled than this man, but, in my almost 50 years on this earth I've never seen anyone skin and split a cow in less than 20 minutes, and despite being in the dirt, keeping the meat clean of debris. Hats off to you sir. Also i never thought a Sawzall could be used for a task like this, and be so useful, clean cuts. 😅😅 Respect 💯💯 😎😎💪💪
From jamaica, I remember seeing such crafty work put to display growing up. Mark you in 70th, the only difference he didn't have a lift such as this man, all of which to be done by hand and natural strength, but I respect this man he was quick and clean plus neat
Impecable trabajo amigo, le felicito. Admiro ver a gente trabajando con las herramientas adecuadas y la destreza con la que Ud maneja su oficio. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for this video. I honestly wanted to know what the inside of a cow looked like. For whatever reason, it's always blurred out on other videos where lions are dismantling a buffalo.
This is amazing. Also, if I showed this to my wife and daughter I suspect they would become vegetarians. 😆 One thing I would do different would be I would have to wear long pants, maybe even something with some extra layer so I didn't accidentally slice my leg! This guy is really good!
Twenty- five million views within the past 2 years. Wow. To skin a whole cow, cut it up into 4 quarters, and then load it in the trailer within 20 minutes, is truly remarkable! I bet he just learned how to do that a week before this video, too.😊 He's a master at his craft.
Back in the days my dad never skinned the animals we would boil water and scrap the hairs off.. the intestines was used for tripe soup, mom made bull foot soup, with the feets, and cows head and tongue was made into a souse, those parts eveyone wanted..no parts of the cow was wasted.
