Yesterday, metal lost an awesome talent. Thank goodness his memory is immortalized in these sorts of videos, as well as his catalog of music.
I was in my truck rollin around and popped in the rareform album.
This song came on and I had to stop cause I had tears of excitement and emotion flooding my eyes.
You guys were the ones who inspired me to become a better guitar player.
When that note holds out and you go into the break, will forever make me remember why I chose to keep playing music.
I love you guys. Thank you.
THAT GREEN GUITAR!!! BEAUTIFUL
Underrated band. Rip Justin. A djent band that actually plays more than one string is a rarity and my god they utilize all of them perfectly
2019 RIP Justin, you are dearly missed, brother. 💔
some of the most underrated guitarists.
It actually sounds pretty cool played at half speed, or whatever speed they break it down to.
I met Justin and talked to him for hours during the Whitechapel and Miss May I concert!!! He has to be one of the nicest people I've ever met. He wanted a picture with me and I didn't even ask \m/ -__- \m/
Rest in paradise brother
Rip Justin :(
+RadialJugernot RIP
i was endlessly looking at videos on youtube and then i stumbled uppon this band.. no fucking clue who this band is but they are very good !
That Lacoste Gator on Justin's guitar is great. Im sad to hear the news though, RIP justin, amazing guitarist.
How are they underrated? They get a lot of(well-deserved) credit!
RIP Justin.
that is one of the greatest descriptions I've ever had the pleasure of reading
They do that because it's like you're at the show...Trent is always on the right (when you're facing the band) and Justin is on the left. The fan is hearing the music as if they were watching them live!
After The Burial is so awesome Live!
Lol a Lacoste gator as inlays? Sick as fuck. LOVE their guitars.
My favorite minute of warped tour was the intro to this song.
they are one of the best this world has seen
That red is fierce on that Ibanez.
The green is so mellow on the other.
is justin endorsed by lacoste or what? :D
The Bb flat(7th string) is also dropped to Ab/G♯
We still miss you, Justin.
RIP Justin :(
Lacoste fretboard ? haha
EXACTLY what I was thinking lol
lol hahaha
My thoughts exactly lol
Loving that Lacoste inlay!
RIP Justin
I want a Justin Lowe Lacoste signature guitar!!!!! RIP!!!!
AWSOME!!!!!!!
POST MORE PLAYTHROUGHS FROM ATB PLEASE!!!!
RIP Justin 2021
He has the lacoste logo at the 12th fret, that's amazing.
love those guitars lmao. they look awesome together
I miss Justin 2019
god i love this band and this song.
ATB make me fucking proud to be a minnesotan,
TWIN CITIES CRUSH!
They make it look so easy, holy s
Thanks George.
@GuillerDrummer I've listened to In Dreams more than 40 times so..... nah I'm quite happy with the new stuff :P
Dude. The RG8 JUST came out. How can they have them a year before? -.-
They're custom RG2228s
Justin's so metal he has the lacoste inlay on his fretboard
Lacoste guitar cracks me up ! :D
Golf & metal
I need a neon 8 string. Like now.
lacoste guitar???
Damn I miss Justin.
Still their best song
Goood Job Gan
its an 8 string RG2228. and they only come in black, but what they did was they custom painted theirs
@falige yeah i want to see play through of the outro
@GuillerDrummer I think they are definitely gonna make up for it with the new album. I agree with you on that one though. I don't like In Dreams.
we're still in April =]
I don't see 8-stringed guitars often..And with the Lacoste fret inlay..
What kind of guitars are those? They look awsome
R.I.P Justin :/
Custom Ibanez ? I fisrt thought about Daemoness guitars, but you right.
Especially Trent.
Gah, rip Justin
RIP!
Yes, now we can cover this together :)
I think I'm playing that sweeping part way wrong. Any accurate tab for it?
I feel you
So why do they tune like this? (With a minor third between strings 8 and 7?) IS there something gained? I know it's similar to dropped A but down a half step (And clearly we've added the 8th string)... but WHY????????
studying for tomorows exam while watching after the burial videos... hahahaha fuck...im going to fail XD
Ibanez RG8 series 8 strings, with their own custom colors im guessing,
Hey! Aren't you supposed to be Guarding Asgaard? And, I always thought Thor used a hammer, not an Axe... o.O
OMG Lacoste logo in the green guitar XD
its just 8 strings half a step down. so Eb from E to e and Bb from B to b and F from F to f.
Anyone know where I can find a bennie that's similar to Trent's?
what kind of pickups do they have on those?
duncan blackouts?
+Andrew Drane Yes.
@Mohamed636 not rly mate xD normally im more into power metal and such so i barely stumble uppon stuff like this, however i do listen to pagan metal etc...
I would agree.
You must be from Wisconsin.
"I could totally play this!" *fingers melt off* FFFFUUUUUUUUUU!!!
Those guitars are cool as shit
damn... i did't know you could play skittles
@Hadwin1989 dude you are behind in the metal scene!
thanks sherlock.
@DrDopenhagen I've listened to it say about 20 times and it's nothing close to how great rareform and futureself were. The guitars aren't layered enough. It's like 1 guitar almost the entire album and the songs themselves have gotten to be less experimental and vocal-centric. Drifts has such a beautiful and unique chord progression and I feel like In Dreams is all basic major/minor stuff which really isn't how they used to make their songs. At least that's the way I feel about the album.
Oh God, Vettel is such a good guitar player
I don't care >< I can't wait much longer!
Why is synchronised guitar shredding not a olympic sport as well?
I really love the intro, its amazing how perfectly played it is.
And Suicide Silence is also a great band, amazing live performances.
But why compare?
Comparing bands only makes sense if they really play almost the same stuff.
suicide silence and after the burial dont.
:)
cool
Can anyone that watched this actually play this? Just currriiousssss
what guitars are those
i feel like ive seen this somewhere
Standard Tuning for an 8 string down half a step, same tuning as Meshuggah
wow
yeah, love tux guitar! just some tabs are not very accurate :/
those 3 string sweeps are tricky, im so used to 5 string
Rock & Metal Disciples
WTF Does Trent do with his left Hand at 0:31 ?
he performs some black magic
That's just some sweep picking lol
***** As a Bassist, i have no Idea what that means.
He's playing some arpeggios and it's more efficient to strike the strings in a sweeping motion instead of individually picking, aka how he plays it so fast
***** thanks
nice gater inlay
i consider your coment an epic win. !
I want the guitars -.-
Your sarcasm amuses me.
lol justin has the lacoste logo on his fretboard!? doesn't get any preppier.
Skittle guitars!
That's why.
1:28 = Playable mode
Compare the Suicide Silence songs "You Only Live Once" and "Slaves to Substance".
It's the nearly the same melody! Recycling ftw.
sick two step at 2:20 xD
