Wow jaw it’s looks hot 🥵 . 👍🏻 Rock train cool . And Railway dogs are having a great day . The kitty being bugged buy the barn swallow tell the next Video 👍🏻 Thxs Robin 🇨🇦. 🇺🇸vets 👍🏻
Nice rock train, made that rail look brand new. 👍 Not warm here, 40's & 50's here in Maine, mountains will see upper 30's tonight, send some warm weather up here please. Wow heavy rain, and birds attacking Norfie... live action son !! 👍 Awesome video as always !! Wooooooooooo !! 👍 👍
@@JawTooth The two that come to mind is the Railway Village Museum in Boothbay Harbor... and Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad in Portland. I've never been to the one in Portland, but I have been to the Boothbay Harbor many times, mostly when I was a little kid, that museum has been around for many years. I'm not sure if there is another narrow gauge RR in Maine running today, I'd have to dig and find out. My dad wrote a book called Steam To The Summit about a narrow gauge cog railway in Bar Harbor, Maine that ran over 100 years ago, they still use a couple of the steam engines at the Mt. Washington cog railway in New Hampshire to this day!
Good made video, mr Jaw Tooth. Yes there he is the video with the rockstone train from CCET, i thought hé wil forget . With a friendly trainengineer that give you a greet. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
Great video Jaw Tooth . Have a great weekend . Cheers love your pets they are cool . Great catching on the short line . Love it cheers Sincerely Andrew Macintosh
Cincinnati Eastern is building the business the correct way. They are providing quality service with good equipment (locomotives and rails) and good relations with the public. A friendly engineer and a friendly railway make for great railroad PR.
A friendly engineer - how cool is that? :) Wow - that was some storm! Poor Norfie, she must have been near a nest or something. Those birds were not happy :)
In 2018 the Norfolk and Western Historical Society started a series in its publication 'The Arrow' called the N&W at High Noon. It took one division at a time and listed all of the trains operating at Noon on a typical weekday. They started with the Cincinnati division. Three local trains, two shifter operations in Cincinnati, a passenger train and a manifest freight being put together for a 1PM departure. Overall the line saw 4 to 5 local freights, 6 passenger trains, 6 manifest freights, one to two coal trains, and a corresponding number of empty hopper trains on a typical day. And all steam powered. Just thought you would find that interesting.
I remember that rain a couple weeks ago. It was on a Monday because I had to drive through it on I-65 South to go to a Dr's appointment in downtown Louisville. They checked my blood pressure and it was like 153 over 98 and I said to the nurse, if you'd been driving white knuckled through that rain not being able to see 5 foot in front of you down I-65 you're blood pressure would be high too, lol. Usually mine's lower than normal at around 105 over 77.
Love the friendly engineer Norfie was close to a nest or a young bird near by. I moved a baby cardinal off of a driveway and had two cardinals dive bombing me.Mom and pop took turns. Stay cool,Jawtooth and pets.
Oh, this is not rain, this is almost a torrential. just take care of yourself in the weather. And what is the weather like here in Berlin, the last rain had been in April and in the forests around berlin is forest fire warning level 5, which is the highest there is. May was the driest May since the weather recorded. The rock-train was great, that's right that I counted 27 cars. that should have been when it was fully loaded about 2500 tons. Greetings from Berlin/ Germany. Sven
Hi Jaw Tooth. Just caught the newest video, and as usual it is very good. But I do have a bit of comment for you: I don't really know what type of device you use to catch the video, but at about the 1:40 mark (or so) the video seems choppy, the engines look like it was done on stop motion video. Also, the birds that are going after Norfie, are those Barn Swallows? Thanks man!
Yeah, not sure what was going on, there. The video's at 30fps but if you single-frame through the choppy part, you see that one frame in three is missing -- the train moves a short distance, then in the next frame, it doesn't move, and then in the third frame, it moves a longer distance. And it keeps going in that sequence of short-nothing-long for a few seconds.
Always to see healthy growing shortlinevrauoriads that's not owned by g&w I hope we get more regional rr like it be so cool to see thiscrailroad running in all ohio and neighboring sysyes competing with NS and csx
We had a small Derecho over here in East Central OH Monday Midnight. Over 71% lost power this County. Finally got it back 7 pm Wednesday evening. Was on Generator entire time.
@UCOfNrv1_gnH1s9Qe5C5UBSA length wise this was small. Only about width of Ohio. Wasn’t like the Monster 6/29/2012 Derecho. Cleveland NWS declared the First one that came through at Midnight, “A Derecho”. Traveled over 250 miles. Smaller/weaker because no 85 mph here. Only 35+. Higher in next County North. Was like 197K Outages in Ohio.
Them tracks were " so shiny , so chrome " . Couldn't see the skeeters attacking you , your feet were almost as white as my legs ( aah , I'm blinded 🤪🤣 ) . Thanks for the video , JT , catch ya on the next one 👍
Boy those engines were working hard with that rock train, really smoking it up. Another friendly engineer, pretty cool, like to see more, it's good for customer and railfan relations. Poor Norfie, just trying to rest and being pestered by birds. Nothing better than railfanning with two of you best friends, nice. Nasty storm, glad your ok. Thanks for sharing ,JT. Thanks.
Thumbs up.

Glad the A/C in the truck was on. In that kind of heat, it can get lethal quick.
Thanks for watching!

Very good video my friend! Have a nice day, greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
Thank you! You too!
Really love the CCET videos and with some storm footage aswell brilliant. Are you thinking of a spinoff for a new JT weather channel??
It seems like it rains here more than anywhere else in the world lol
Sounds like he has a sick horn LOL
Just one of many "little" railroads all over the country that get the goods to the final customers.
Thanks for the live action, awesome as always,Looks like the birds were too pleased with Norfie.
Our pleasure!
Nice rock train. Poor Norfie getting buzz bombed by a mad mama bird, I'd be tired too after that ordeal. Good video and thanks!

I was at home when the storm hit Monday and it knocked out our power and our power didn’t get restored until 11:30pm
