This was such a helpful insight into this shoot. I love that there's no messing about, and you just tell us what you did and why you did it. Really helpful.
Amazing concept and great execution Lindsay Adler! I have to say the Cyan Gel on the Umbrella and the over all Pink almost has a Cross Process feel to it, beautiful.
even though you are a great photogrpher, yet you are still getting better and better, each time being surprised, lol..... greeting from the Netherlands.
Great video. Makes me want to play around with colored gels more. Love that you reference the photographer that inspired your shoot so I can see more examples
What a great question to ask. I always applaud when people understand the importance of the question. I'm pretty sure it was only like 1/2 stop less than main.
@@lindsayadlerphoto that was my first question too, but I always read the comment in case someone asks the same question so it won't be repeated again.. Thank you again for sharing your amazing work
Having seen the video, kind of looks there is a blue geled light somewhere? I really like the style of the pics, the colors 🔥 , love the backstages you’ve been producing the last two years Lindsay, once again thanks a lot for your work
@@lindsayadlerphoto 😂, sorry, my bad English I meant “haven’t”, I’ve taken to hearth your advise on checking the work first and trying to figure out how it is done, so I always try to deconstruct before I see your tutorials on UA-cam
Great tutorial, Lindsay! The final images have an Albert Watson vibe with regards to his project Strip Search. Will you be doing a "Deconstruction" video on the editing side!
Hello, thank you for all the great content from over the years. Just a question in regards to putting together a portfolio. I have been doing a lot of tests with a mixture of fashion, beauty, concealed and art nude. I am not sure where to look for work with have such a portfolio. Is it inappropriate to have nude in my portfolio when looking for work. As an experienced photographer what would suggest?
It really depends. If you're trying to appeal to people who want wedding photos, or senior portraits, and you mix in nudes, then yes it's probably inappropriate. You have to tailor your portfolio to your intended audience. Many photographers have multiple portfolios for that reason and keep things separated.
@@lindsayadlerphoto thanks you for your response. I was hoping to getting into fashion and to work with modelling agencies. Maybe to try and get a few advertising jobs with a few magazines if it's possible.
Thank you for sharing! If you have a second, I uploaded some original music. As a fellow music fan, I'd love if you'd check it out. It's on my page. I appreciate it!
Thank you for demo of R5 high resolution on the model and jewelry. Great for beginners, trade show, or social media.
Looooòooooved this

@@lindsayadlerphoto You’re welcome! 🤩
Her outfit is so dope!
right??? Amazing!
@@lindsayadlerphoto yes! Beautiful really !
Would you mind sharing the ratio of your main and fill light? Love the blue tones!
What a great question to ask. I always applaud when people understand the importance of the question. I'm pretty sure it was only like 1/2 stop less than main.
@@lindsayadlerphoto thank you!!! I love your channel. Thanks for adding great content so often.
@@lindsayadlerphoto interesting that the blue gel at almost similar power doesn't create a blue cast - very clever!
@@lindsayadlerphoto that was my first question too, but I always read the comment in case someone asks the same question so it won't be repeated again.. Thank you again for sharing your amazing work
Indeed, the skin was pretty much high key... maybe, both main and fill lights were of high power.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You're the best! 😍
