Free college after 36 months, full G.I. coverage after 36 months, im on a 3 years 24 weeks contract and i’m garunteed G.I.
So I can go to college for free without using my G.I. Bill?
Yooooo, I watched you since junior year, and now I'm a senior and pass the asvab, and now I'm looking at the jobs I'm available for, and I need to do my physical soon.
You got this!
You had to get all your health and criminal records for your recruiter right?
Great video! I was wondering if all this free stuff, especially the no-credit card fee benefits, were available to both active and part-time military members. Thank you
On point. As real as it gets.
Great video Mr. Battley! I’m going to share it my son. We have a joined bank account and because he is military he doesn’t get charged fees and we get discounts on our Tmobile bill!
Please do!
If you are lucky, you will get in some overseas deployments. Truly the best part of being in the Army. Garrison life is the worse. No one wears combat patches or have CABs or CIBs anymore.
Except the "free" food is not actually free when a single soldier (E4) living in the barracks gets a $400 meal deduction coming out of their paycheck every month. Instead you are being forced to pay for the DFAC whether you eat there or not. The DFAC food is terrible and I've been buying groceries so I am technically paying about $800/month for food. $400 for meal deduction and $400 for groceries monthly.
Good to see this information because it seemed like a college tuition where food is free ( technically )
You're the best UA-camr I've watched, your personality makes the videos the best !! I'm 17 and waiting to be 18 to join, for sure this year I'll be gone.
That means a lot Josue, Thanks frfr!

My dad told me: Military is the last option if your single and poor
Not when you have an actual career that'll pay your rent and you have an education. I had recruiters try to convince me that since im in college they will get me all the benefits and that they cover it all and everything but its just to get me to help them get their own personal benefits they get for recruiting new soilders
Dang, military complex really is paying well to his recluitment influencers.

@kingtree1448 for bootcamp just do what's instructed for you to do, try not to be seen, for your rate/a school - pay attention to what your instructor is teaching about your rate & don't get in any trouble then once you get to the fleet just be to yourself try to find that 1 friend that you could trust & hope they don't change on you. It's easy bro, make the best of it but please don't get mixed into the wrong crowd good luck!!

I was at the recruitment office and apparently with the college thing, basic training/boot camp gives you college credits. Hey, thanks Willfried!
I'm trying to think of ways we could use blacks' phenomenal spacial abilities in the military. Figuring our missile trajectories, figuring out drone behaviors, jobs for drones, that might work. It would take some training, but it could work. I've noticed that a lot of math professors are not that good at teaching math. We need to get teachers who know how to explain mathematics in ways more people can understand.
The VA homeloan is not actually a loan. You still have to find a bank to give you a loan so if you don't have a good credit score...you cannot use the VA Home loan.
The VA home loan is just the government saying if Private Doe, defaults on the payments the bank will not lose any money.
Im joining soon im about to reap these benefits lol, whole reason im joining.
It's like a prison sentence but with some benefits.
You should be in the advertising team for the Army
Hey man I'm doing the enlightening Test sometime this week actually and then if I hopefully pass I'm off to BCT and hopefully I'll only do a 3yr contract in mos 12w for my first term. I'm really banking on all the benefits that I can get as I'm just 18yrs old and that I can actually get a VA Home loan to buy a house in my home in New York Queens. So yeah idk if joining at 18 is the best life decision or not but I wanted to help myself and my mom and that's about it, so thanks for all the info as I Definitely need to save alot of money lol
Move out of NY, the place is a shithole and way too expensive. I don’t know if they allow 3 year contracts, I’m pretty sure 4 as active is the minimum. I wish you luck though, be chill with your battle buddies and you will be fine if ur in semi decent shape/have a strong mentality.
@stephenasmith273 thanks I definitely will and yeah they have 3yr contracts that allow me to get full benefits, and then I can do 5yrs part time while trying for a college degree in something hopefully, but thanks for the advice 😄
