Would you please share the link to the other video where you remove the trim panel...??
It dont seem like all the second gen fusion comes with that wire on the shifter because i bought the same shifter. When took it apart theres nowhere to connect the wire nor did i have to remove one..
How did you get the leather cover down to expose the screws?

Pulling hard seemed risky. I tried twisting and it came right off. Was then able to push it down.
