This is one of the most well- designed vans I've ever seen. The craftsmanship is equally impressive, and as a lifelong carpenter, I am generally critical of other carpenters' work. I really have nothing negative to say about their van. It's incredibly well- thought out.
That thing is amazing! I'm 6'5 tall flat-footed. How much are they selling that thing for? But they're all the way in Las Vegas I'm in New York city. But really how much do they want for it? I would love to chill out on the deck with my friends
love the build but the interviewer talked too much and always got in the way. I appreciated the enthusiasm but I wish you'd interrupt less. You find great builds though, thanks.
I have a 1995 Roadtrek campervan and my hall is also my shower pan with a shower curtain that goes all the way around. All that is old is new again, lol
Absolutely SPECTACULAR INTERIOR! W.O.W.!! Shower is BRILLIANT!! GRADIATING THE FLOOR is PURE GENIUS!!! And you INCLUDED A LIGHT, which most people overlook! This video is of constant, brilliant ideas that exquisitely provide the absolute BEST of necessities, luxury, visual and tactile experience! I've watched thousands of van designs and this VAN DESIGN is the BEST!!
It’s like the little engine that could, they fit a whole lot of awesome in a smaller van. This van pretty much does it all and looks beautiful while doing so! What a spectacular and innovative design! I really love this build! Cheers
Beautiful van, loved the hidden shower, that is such a great idea to save space. Quick wipe down with your own towel when finished and the floor is dry. Also a great "wet room" for changing out of wet shoes or boots too. The tilting solar is brilliant too, though would consider making it tilt to the other side of the van. If you park up and want to enjoy the view would you not want the sliding door to face the sun to watch the sunrise/set and be in the warmth of the sun if sitting outside the van, rather than being in the shade as you would be with the way it currently tilts. Great that it gives extra storage too.
I am in love with this van. After binge-watching videos and looking at floor plans for inspiration, I have finally found something worthy of imitating. Different and beautiful. Hats off to you guys at Landship Customs. I am in awe of Nicks's craftsmanship.
That's a nice build. He put a little more effort into the recirculating system. And the woodwork is excellent. The toilet system is cool too. Good job.
Hippie soap! As a "seasoned" (old) hippie, l've been using Dr Bronner's for 50ish years and that made me laugh! l call it hippie soap myself, it just was too funny for me, thanks so very much, l needed that. Of course, there was primed humor with the gradient comments (l knew what that meant btw) vs osmosis. You're very entertaining, my kind of humor. What a beautiful build. Too bad there's not a Maine branch as I'm in MA, the opposite coast. Think about it Mr carpenter. We need skilled van builders out here and you could branch out, we need you, this is the first van l've seen w/o a fixed bathroom/bed that l've really liked and l've looked quite a bit. l'm transfixed with this build.
Very well done. If certified as a rv then financing for 15 20 years could be an option. This is a rig that is built with quality that will bring years of memories to the buyer. When you look at current prices of RVs vrs build quality this custom build will surpass those all the time. If they can get their rv certification they would sell out the number of builds a year at one big show. Well done 👏 ✔ 👍 🏄♀️🌊🏄♂️🤙
Beautiful van! Retired manufacturer here. Remember, time is money and most won't appreciate your high end (expensive) materials as much as you do. Stick with practicality and more off the shelf and you will do well. Good luck with the business!
Love this and love Shane and Nick. They seem like a stellar pair. Unique design features, quality craftsmanship and well thought out functionality. I, too, would love to see a tour of the Ho Ho Wagon on a future episode. I look forward to seeing their future builds.
The fluting of the walls and cabinet doors isn't just visually appealing; it is an acoustic damper, reducing echo and reverberation. This design would be great for a nomad who records a podcast or UA-cam channel.
Great idea on the solar sail. Also on the storage/deck on top. The top box probably helps a bit with gas mileage instead of multiple items sticking out of the top. Being a plumber and dealing with what are called Cross-Connections, running the shower through the same system and water heater as the domestic system is a Really bad idea. It should be a completely separate system with no interconnections at all so there is zero chance of contamination. Too many people don't understand complex systems and do not maintain them as required.
Lovely, well executed design! I was thinking that the bed could use some kind of a metal catch, or locking mechanism, (cylindrical door latches on the sides?) to keep everything from sliding forward in the event of a crash.
Hey mark thanks for the good vibes! The bed slides have pins that lock into slots below the slides that prevent the bed from moving anywhere when they are in place. May be a good idea to put an additional locking mechanism to prevent the pins from braking in a crash, so thanks for the idea we will do that for our buyer!
you made the circle window van not creepy! It's a total fix of the old white vans with just the one little circle window in the back, which sometimes seemed creepyish. love this van!
