    I was about to buy the shark vacuum. Seeing so many good reviews on UA-cam. I'm so glad I found your videos.

    Thanks for all of your videos! I came across your channel looking for a Lupe review, I was just a few days away from purchasing one and you stopped me from making a mistake. I then badly wanted a Lindhaus cordless but due to them costing over $2000AUD (that doesn't even include the power nozzle either) I was unable to get one (maybe one day!)
    I instead bought a Henry Allergy which has the HEPA filter and so far I'm very happy with that! I also bought the TK 286 turbo nozzle to go with it (also on your recommendation!). Thank you and have a great 2022!

    Ok I appreciate you bringing the flaws of Shark vacuums to my attention as well as the repairability or lack thereof, but I do NOT want to invest in a central vacuum for my 1200 sq ft condominium. Also, I suffer from allergies…and none of your tests account for whether the vacuum you’re reviewing actually is well sealed.
    I would LOVE to see nagged vacuums reviewed the way I see bagless vacuums reviewed, and I would even entertain central vacuum with a proper pitch, but I just don’t see solid testing and data to back up the options you’ve suggested like I have from someone like Vacuum Wars, who lacks what you have in investigation of repairability and longevity. I’m leaving both of you a comment like this because I really want to see ALL the cards on the table.
    Thank you for helping me determine _not_ to buy a Shark, but at the same time I feel like I am still stuck with no idea what to buy because you just aren’t thorough enough in assessing how well the vacuum cleans or how well it is sealed.
    I really think a collaboration would be mutually beneficial to your audiences. Right now I am literally stuck on what to buy because they all have giant question marks.

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Рік тому

      Well you're not going to find a single UA-camr who does accurate pickup tests. Nobody would sit there and watch that for hours. Yes vacuum Wars does some tests but they're far from scientific and I wouldn't put much weight on them.
      As far as what vacuum would work best for you. I would highly recommend you take a look at some of the portable options from SEBO and Miele. Vacuum cleaner subredded has a great auto reply that's worth a read as well. Hope that helps thanks for watching!

    • @LeeHawkinsPhoto
      @LeeHawkinsPhoto Рік тому

      @@PerformanceReviews what makes for an accurate pickup test? Honestly these aren’t the most important to me, as my main concerns are that the vacuum always sucks enough and gets the dirt and dust out, and that when it does get it out, the unit is sealed well enough that the dust isn’t just spewed back into the room to settle into my airways and ultimately back into my carpet. I really do like the idea of minimal maintenance as well-like not having to clean filters and not having to give the rollers a haircut. I appreciate that you steer me away from bagless for that and that you make the price proposition very sensibly, but I still am confused about which bagged vacuum cleaners are good, whether they pick up as much, whether they spew dust as they pick it up, and whether any of them have the ability to avoid hair wrapping. Should I spring for Consumer Reports? I just don’t know where to turn…and I appreciate your unique understanding from the technician’s perspective.

    Hi,
    not sure if you'll see my comment, but I'd wanna inform you about something which I found a little bit shocking. Today, Ibaisaic have made a video about Miele's newest bagless vacuum. The Boost CX1. This machine still has decent quality according to Ibaisaic, however, the vacuum is made in China and they took away a feature which was pretty much in every Miele model, the Comfort cord rewind. Not sure if they took this feature away, because the compact size of the vacuum or because Miele is slowly taking features from it's machines away. You probably never used this machine, since it only launched in Europe not too long ago and it might need some time to reach the US too (if they gonna sell it there). Anyways, if you ever get to try out one or something please make a video about it, because I haven't heard too much people's opinion about this whole thing and since you are an expert you might know the answers for some of my questions. Sorry if my message didn't make too much sense. I'm not so good in English.

    Question: best vacuum for women with long hair with super furry long-haired pets. House is 50% hard floors, 50% carpet. Would prefer something that is bagless, but bagged would be an option if not too expensive to buy more.

    That Hizero should be able to clean textured tile for that high price. It’s got very limited for what they’re charging

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  2 роки тому +1

      That's like saying a Ferrari should be able to do off-road rock crawling because it's price. The Hizero is a specific tool for a specific job. It cleans textured tile just fine. Just not deep grouted tile like you'd find in lower end homes.

      Any simple canister vacuum will do what you want it to do. Soft roller brushes are a gimmick. I highly recommend Henry compact.
