I got a Sebo E3 on your recommendation a couple years ago and I have to say it's just been a dream to use. It's definitely an expensive vacuum, but I'm so pleased with it and I'm glad someone is doing 'real' reviews for these kinds of products!
I am based in the UK and I can confirm that the SEBO Felix and E3 are EXCELLENT machines for homes with a mixture of carpet and hard floors. They are quiet and deep down cleaners. They last years and years as are commercial quality, they don’t have any silly fancy gadgets on them, just good quality components and great design. Henry I don’t like as not good for carpets, but they are also built like a tank as will last years and years too. Many builders in the UK have Henry. Professional carpet fitters and commercial and domestic cleaners use SEBO.
I did consider the Sebo (E3?). I have a Miele dishwasher that I've been very happy with, so brand familiarity caused me to go Miele. I am very happy with it. It sucks so hard that it pulled up chunks of my old carpet. So now I have new carpet. Best. Vacuum. Ever! My carpet is brand new again after buying it! :)
from watching here, testing at a local vacuum shop, I purchased the Sebo e-3. They recommended this over Miele C model that I was going to purchase. My Sebo is very good, excellent mobility, handle, and ET-1 carpet attachment. It was more expensive than what i was planning to spend
@The Past is the Future He said Sebo is 1) completely made in Germany, parts included 2) warranty, which I have is 10 years vs Miele is either 2-5, Both machines featured in this video are the same price .
@@bern8378 You can. I have area rug, but wanted a good carpet cleaner. Cleans 100% better than Shark upright. If I ever move that has wall to wall, I'll have no problem.
Exactly same happened at my local Vaccum shop. My dealer prefers Sebo E3 over the Miele for the same reasons. I bought E3 home although I do like the miele cute design. 😂
I love your doggy, he is so cute. And so tolerant of the vacuum! I have 2 Huskies and after years of owning a Dyson DC14 Animal that was very reliable (but too much exposure to dust for my allergies) I just bought a Sebo E3. I've only had it a day but enjoying it so far (it's so quiet, too!). And I didn't have to wear a mask when cleaning. I haven't used a canister vac in years and years so it's gonna take a minute to get back in the groove of that, but it's really easy to push compared to the Dyson. I liked the idea of bagless as I try to limit my use of disposable things, but I think in this instance it was a false economy. Have really enjoyed watching your videos and learning about vacuums while researching this purchase. :)
You pretty much named the same brands and models I would have. Another great canister cleaner is the Zero G, it also cleans really well. The Henry is a great vacuum but as you said, it wouldn't work very well on a lot of carpet since they don't include an electric power nozzle or even the ability to connect an electric nozzle. You could use one of the battery powered nozzles with Henry though and that would probably work really well. If you want the power of a central vacuum but installing pipes is not an option, you can still have one. Many central vacuum units include a utility valve and for those that don't, just attach a utility valve to the in-take, I have central vacuum units all over my apartment that I use this way including five of them that run on 240 volts. Connect a hose directly to those and the power is incredible.
I purchased a SEBO X4 Automatic for my home that, with the exception of the kitchen & bathrooms was carpeted. All was fine until unforeseen circumstances prevailed and I found myself in a house totally covered in vinyl flooring. This rendered my X4 pretty much useless (unless I remove the roller) and it sits in a closet now. I got an incredible deal on an Oreck Elevate Conquer which is my daily driver now.
this is so helpful, as are all of your videos. thank you so much for making these. Question, why did you buy your mother in law the Miele Complete C3 instead of the SEBO E3? it was unclear which is better or what the differences are between those two

Can you provide a brief comparison or pros/cons between the Miele Brilliant and the SEBO D4? I have not yet found a comparison review between the two online. I have the upright Cat and Dog that I got over a decade ago and it is still going strong. We were looking at getting a newer version, but it seems Miele went away from distributing upright vacuums. The cost of maintenance of a bagless will be more than buying bags. Just sayin. Bagless machines also tend to have more issues and require service more often. In the long run, not worth it.

They don’t know good quality!!!!!!!! Shark and Dyson do have excellent marketing and advertising teams to ‘big up’ what they have and people get sucked into it, they are not built to last and companies like Dyson and Shark want customers to keep upgrading their machines with ‘fancy’ new features every few years!! The fact that Dyson stop supporting a machine after 8 or 9 years is very poor!! A SEBO will be supported well over 20+ years after production!!
@@applianceman6009 VacWars speak on brands that have great budget vacuums for less than $350 so the "budget" Sebo is still too high. You have got to be either be naive or ignorant to think everyone can afford a $500 vacuum.

This is a video about good vacuums, not disposable items. On a side note bagless vacuum cleaners cost more to run them back to machines due to having filters that need to be replaced. That tend to cost as much or more than a Year's worth of vacuum bags.
Can I ask why you don’t recommend the Henry for wall-wall carpet? Can’t I just get a different attachment for the carpet? They don’t know good quality!!!!!!!! Shark and Dyson do have excellent marketing and advertising teams to ‘big up’ what they have and people get sucked into it, they are not built to last and companies like Dyson and Shark want customers to keep upgrading their machines with ‘fancy’ new features every few years!! The fact that Dyson stop supporting a machine after 8 or 9 years is very poor!! A SEBO will be supported well over 20+ years after production!!
Maybe because they're more affordable 🤷🏾♀️
$300-$500 is not the most affordable!! You can get a budget Sebo model for $500!!
@@applianceman6009 VacWars speak on brands that have great budget vacuums for less than $350 so the "budget" Sebo is still too high. You have got to be either be naive or ignorant to think everyone can afford a $500 vacuum.
I rather stick to vacuums that come with a turbine head or use a turbine head
What country are you in?
I have 500 square feet of wall to wall carpet up top and 600 hardwood on the bottom. It feels like overkill to spend thousands on a vacuum but I want to stop replacing them every couple of years.
Then get a Miele C1 Cat and dog Best of all worlds for that.
do any of these do bagless?
This is a video about good vacuums, not disposable items. On a side note bagless vacuum cleaners cost more to run them back to machines due to having filters that need to be replaced. That tend to cost as much or more than a Year's worth of vacuum bags.
Can I ask why you don’t recommend the Henry for wall-wall carpet? Can’t I just get a different attachment for the carpet?
Also, I saw your other canister vs upright video which was awesome and probably the only one available. It seems like what you’re saying is canister w/ right attachment is just as good on mid-high pile carpet as upright? But is there any maneuverability inconvenience factor?
Henry does not have an electric power nozzle thats the reason why people do not use them for wall to wall carpet. You can get the Airo brush attachment for rugs though.
Susan must be a Shark and Dyson fangirl
No Riccar?
Lol, Overpriced high maintenance Chinese machines do not make this list.
@@PerformanceReviews Most models are made in St. James, Mourissi. Do better research. Out cleans all of these you show.
People like myself have 3 vacuum cleaners 2 bagged vacuum cleaners 1 bagles vacuum cleaner everything is proven my bagles vacuum cleaner causes problem's with my health when I clean out
Bagged vacuum cleaners are more healthy for your health
Whenever I get a house, I might consider an MD central vacuum that is for a 10,000 sq ft house even if it’s only a 1200 sq ft house.
Save your money.
Great if you got a Grand to spend, but what about us poofolk? Ya know the $200 range.
