With this 16 inch Ryobi chainsaw I was able to cut down a big tree.
How to cut down a tree for cheap
How to save money when cutting down a tree.
This is not not a stihl chainsaw nor a electric chainsaw.
I cut this tree with only one Ryobi 16 inch chainsaw and it worked out perfect.
I was trimming the tree a little in the begging and after that my tree cutting service was performed.
Cutting down trees is healthy and the tree was to close to the house and had to be removed.
The cost to cut down a tree for me was really cheap $310 to rent the boom lift,
Tree trimming near me and tree removal near me was not an option for me.

I've got an 18" Ryobi chain saw and the thing is made extremely well and has been ultra reliable. Ryobi makes great stuff.

Cold start would be even faster if you pushed the choke in after the first pull. When you hear ignition, it's time to go off the choke.

👏👏Great video! That tree was huge!!! I am surprised the chainsaw did not break in the midst of cutting all that!

Good review I have 14" ryobi and thinking to get 18" for bigger jobs with bigger engine than 14" and 16" have the same. I read reviews on it hard start fixable if change spark plug to good brand

Safety.... Don't wave around drop starting. Lock rear handle against inner thighs, then pull cord. Alternatively hold on ground as shown in manual.

My god the chainsaw close up to the camera made me uncomfortable. Even though I know there is no real danger to me I still moved back haha.

I have used this Ryobi 16" 37cc saw for my limbing and small cuts (super lightweight, and a good inexpensive little saw for little projects) for over 5 years. Of course, I upgraded this Ryobi to an Oregon bar and chain to make it work well. But I digress. I never expected that this saw would become a staple on my dads property. I did not expect that it would be a little workhorse that would show up every day to limb, chop, and make short work of new growth. I am on my 3rd chain, and (as I explained, go OREGON bars!) my 2nd bar. Learn how to keep your chain sharp, so you are not buying a new chain when what you have just needs a little honing (imagine everyone throwing away their pocket knives, instead of sharpening them correctly).
Whatever saw you choose to take home, just remember the mantra of wise men everywhere.
'She is a fickle bitch. You have to learn just what she wants. Just what she needs, even if she will never articulate that fact to you. Use your Zen power, and figure out what she needs to be happy and grind hard. She will never tell you, so you had better figure that out for yourself. If you can unlock that mystery, she will stay by your side forever, and never let you down'.

Why is video as mirror? Or is this a left hand saw

  • @jimmyjimmy951

More pumps on the primar would help with a easier cold start. You may also want to put more thought and action into your safety. You blokes took way to many chances from the lack of PPE to walking in front of a tree that you have just wedged. 😣

    • @Zardoch
      @Zardoch 4 роки тому

Ryobi saws usually run way too rich with factory adjustment. You'll have to adjust the carburetor. Many videos on UA-cam on how to do it. You'll need a special tool though. It's called a Pac Man screwdriver, and you can get it online, eg. on Amazon. Hardware shops won't sell them in many countries, because of environmental regulations.

hahaha my echo battery saw cuts faster. The chain is so dull its making sawdust :)
BTW do NOT pull a tree to you when making your back cut. Use felling wedges because they are cheaper than property damage or a hospital visit.

True. If the tree does something unexpected, the guy on the rope might get a violent yank. It's hard to be sure just watching a video, but it looked to me that this tree was on the verge of sitting back rather than tipping forward.
