Man, this episode had it all! Rattler talk, a Rutger, a chainsaw, Santa Claus, etc. Well done! I have the Husqvarna 450 Rancher and I just bought the Kobalt 18" Max 80 last year. Both serve their purpose well. Side note, we just saw a mystery snake in the back yard last week (all black with two bright yellow racing stripes) that seems to be killing, but not eating, our normal gartner snakes. Those snake rounds are a handy item that I didn't know existed. Fantastic episode!
I bought a VERY similar Chainsaw less than two days ago. . . Also Ryobi, Also gas. . . bit of a longer blade. . . quite interesting to hear your review after running mine around 3 hours! Very good to know, will look into the lag issue when I run it again tomorrow, and will also look into the booklet for the hour rating. . .
@@OffKilterHomestead the one I have starts easy regardless. . .and I have used it on pretty decently sized hardwood as well. . . wondering if I should do a review on the SA version. . .
I have the same chainsaw, it gets the job done as little as I use it. Most of my hand tools are Ryobi and I have great luck with them! I need to get some of that rat shot, I usually just keep a .410 close by when I'm in a snake area.
Do the shot bullets cycle the gun? I've heard good/bad reviews on those. Nice review on the little saw, I picked up a refurb for $70 and can't wait to use it.
Just retired mine after 4 years of mild to moderate use. It wasn’t great but it worked. Would I buy it again? Sure would I suggest spending a few extra bucks for a better machine. Absolutely

I’ve taken down the rest of the brush. I like how it starts so easily when hot.

It’s cycles okay. I wouldnt try to rapid fire. But for slow shots I’ve only had it jam two or three times.

Yeah. I much prefer a sturdier rig. But for basic suburbanites who like to think they are handy this is a good saw. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
