- The release of Glenfiddich presented by MR PORTER, our first foray into the world of single malt Scotch whisky, might take a few people by surprise. We’re the men’s style destination, after all, not the men’s whisky destination. But style, if you ask us, isn’t just about the clothes we wear. It’s a quality that comes through in everything we do. And a handsomely stocked bar, like a smartly appointed wardrobe, deserves a spot in any man’s home.
In this video, MR PORTER’s Creative Director Mr Ben Palmer tastes Glenfiddich presented by MR PORTER for the very first time - guided by the expert hand of whisky aficionado and Glenfiddich global brand ambassador Mr Struan Grant Ralph.

In my view it is all about promoting brand and nothing to do with quality and type of whisky. It is a very well made advertisement.

I don’t think it is, I found it very easy to ignore.
Mr Porter is all about mens style, so naturally, a whiskey collaboration makes sense. But of course, it’s not about the taste here; it’s about the style that drinking a good whiskey in a stylish glass has. You wouldn’t enjoy whiskey so much if it was drunk out of a metal mug 😁

Y’all are back!!! I’d love to work at Mr. Porter. I feel like the brand has a ton of runway in the luxury space that is massively untapped. Anyway. Great work!
I'd agree but I also feel that they have veered off the brand a bit. The content they made a few years ago has was authentic. Now everything appears to be an ad. Which is ok if done right.
@@BaronDeRothschild that’s a fair assessment. It does feel a bit obvious when they produce and post an Ad like this one on branded merch versus let’s say the more subtle and iconic “what do you keep in your desk drawer” video.

Slightly overpriced for a 20-year-old, but honestly with the marriage of these two brands I can see this doing well on the secondary market as much as I hate that practice.

Glenfiddich is one of the worst and overpriced distilleries nowadays. A 20 year old scotch for 300£, what a joke by both mrporter and Glenfiddich. Buy a Glenfarclas Family Cask for that price and get twice the quality.
I wouldnt say worst. Glenfiddich 18 i a reasonable entry level 18 yo for 60 eur that is actually quite pleasant. But this Porter edition for 300 is clear nonsense.
Chill filtered and caramel added, so my 300£ shall go for another malt.
I have always wondered why that matters?
