As a Brit watching from afar, it seems to me that Biden brings a message of hope and advancement for the American people. Can't really see what's wrong with that, certainly seems like a better message than the opposition is sending out?
This speech would have been fantastic if the accomplishments Biden is proclaiming were grounded in reality. However, the majority of his points and claims are fiction.

As a high school senior trying to be more involved and informed with our country's current political environment and government. I thought Biden's speech was pretty strong. I know very little about politics but if I were take his word about everything he said I would agree with about 80% of it and support him. I would love to hear some feedback from other people on their opinion about his speech for my Third Quarter Project.

It was a powerful speech. Didn't see any signs of dementia as some conservatives have suggested. Trumps speeches are more confusing. Biden came out swinging and I applaud him. Be sure to watch fact check videos or read articles from reputable sources on Pres. Biden and Senator Britt's speeches. That should be helpful for your project as well. I wish you well!

We stand mute in the face of a corrupt and oppressive government and pretend we don't see. When our founding fathers completed the Constitution and emerged from their hard - but unified - work it is claimed they were asked by the people what form of government they would have and the reply was: " a Republic - if you can keep it."
But then that was long ago. It was a different time. It was a time when the founding fathers worked together and with counterparts abroad. It was a time when our leaders did SERVE and were actually happy when they could pursue other interests and live their American dream and let others pursue theirs. Through such freedom Edison helped light up the world. Bejamin Franklin and Tesla explored science and people helped their neighbors and freed the slaves. Brothers in a bicycle shop provided entertainment as they repeatedly crash landed in a field but never gave up and gave the world an unbelievable dream - flight.
Yet now we use that dream to drop bombs on other people. And at home our aeroplanes are so neglectfully put together the WHEELS even fall off. Not even the bolts on the doors are secure.

By all estimates this was a very good speech. Whether you like Biden or not, this is how a president is supposed to conduct themselves with decorum and dignity. Can you imagine Trump doing the same?
Not in a million years!!! I hope those still on the fence about whether Pres. Biden has the mental faculties to serve four more years watched this speech. Even I had some concerns, but this speech did much to put those concerns to rest. Unlike his predecessor, Pres. Biden remembers his US history quite well, and doesn't ramble about "storming the airports during the Revolutionary War"😅😅😅😅.

The insanity around Roe is absurd. Surgical proceedures are the pervue of state medical boards, not in the Federal arena, ever. Roe hung by a thread the minute it was ruled on, and all it took was one swipe at it to reveal it was a paper tiger. But it was useful to the parties to use as a political whipping post all those years to fund raise.
The entire thing was creepy af.
