actorguy213 I love the song the last stanza to outro sucks! But I think Adam did it pretty well. There’s this Singer From Australia named Darryl Braithwaite, he sang it On this Show called Hey Hey it’s Saturday. By far the best attempt I’ve ever heard. I think Anthem would be my pick from chess to sing because it’s a nice song and it still knocks the audience’s Socks off! But it’s pretty easy.
i'd actually really like to see him as the phantom. he'd take advantage of the rock undertones of the score and be really different and great. BUT RAMIN HAS GOT TO GET HIS SWEET BUM TO NYC AND DO PHANTOM FIRST.
If Adam Pascal gets cast as the Phantom this year, 2022, I would literally book a flight to New York ASAP. I mean, come on! It's a no-brainer, considering his vocal prowess. Case and point, "Pitty the Child" from Chess in Concert, 2008: Live at the Royal Albert Hall. And all his singing shown in this vid. What on earth did he mean when he said he couldn't do that anymore? He just killed it here!
Geese I never thought he’d be able to sing like that this is the perfect role from him it was like u never thought he would be a great phantom but he would
omg he DOES hace the voice of the phantom!!! wish that could happen :(( althoughhh not gonna lie it kinda lacks the "velvety thickness" most artists who played phantom has.
I would totally dig Adam Pascal as the Phantom. The actor who they cast in the movie version had a more "rock" style to his voice, and I thought it was PHANTASTIC... :D
lot of constriction. i do that, too. how do you get rid of it? I see myself doing that alot and i'm afraid if i don't get this problem fixed, i may lose/do damage to my voice. He's fantastic though, and I think Adam can sing.
The day that Adam becomes phantom let me know! i would sell my soul to the devil to see him perform live! either him as phantom or him as Roger like i would absolutely love to see him live as Roger :) fave musical :) like i would want to just live in the musical RENT :) xxx
I saw him in Memphis and he was phenomenal! But honestly, he is no Hugh Panaro or Ramin Karimloo. He would stick out so much with Christine and Raul and everyone else in the cast being classically trained. I love him so much, but I just can't see it working too well.
@@LishNess1 yessssssss! I would freaking die for him as Judas. I've seen some awesome people play Judas, the last one being Tim Minchin, but I was literally hoping i'd find a performance of him doing JCSS
"Roger" sounds so great! But he's no longer blonde. "One song glory, one song before I go, glory. From the pretty boy frontman, who wasted opportunity."
Um... Have you ever heard Phantom? The only song that's pop-ish is Phantom of the Opera. All the others are extremely operatic. I don't know what you're talking about.
He sang pitty the child pretty well, music of the night so much. It was weird he’s got this Not A tenor more a rock singer vibe going on which works well for chess but not for The Phantom.
He's trying too hard to pull all of his chest weight into his belt and it's causing - as you say - constriction. Belting, in reality, is only about 80% chest and 20% mix, and the higher you get the more mix you need to put in. Listen to Drew Sarich or Gavin Creel, they're fabulous belters and they don't strain at all.
If for some ridiculous reason, Phantom is in risk of closing, cast him, why not, YOLO. but he should never be cast as the phantom, he's great but he doesn't have the voice for it
he would work as the phantom! but he would have to be less "good" ? ok maybe i'm used to hear phantoms who are not that polished. ok so that i'm clear i would love to hear him *but* not sure he'd get it unless. (but who cares what i think lol)
I love Adam to death, he's a top fave of mines but I think Phantom would be a weird fit vocally, would love to hear him as Judas though.
Cromartie he would be a lovely Judas.
Ohhhhhhh YESSSSSSSSSS
I have longed for him to play Judas 🥰
I saw him in Aida a loooong time ago and I still love him so much. Amazing performer.
He would be an amazing Phantom! wow.
"Wig me"
I've watched this So Many Times over the years and I still crack up at the "kinda" at the end. What a cutie pie. STILL.
very interesting timbre for phantom
The number of times I have used the phrase "wig me" in conversations since I first saw this video (when it was posted)...
I love the little whispering will he was singing Music of the Night
There's a reason why that song is known as "Pity the Tenor"

at first i was like adam in phantom? i mean ok then he started singing and i was all like HOLY SHIT HE NEEDS TO DO IT
I feel inlove with Adam in Aida ,watch it a bunch of times just to see him! Love his voice, very unique!
If he becomes Phantom....please let me know when!!!
Doesn't it sound like he says "I had my pudding" not "I had my put in"
I was a little confused - knowing dairy isn't the best for vocalists. 😂
I want him to be Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages.
have loved him ever since he autographed my RENT playbill all those years ago
Yes!!!!! Adam as the Phantom!!!! What a phenomenal singer
When he does phantom I will cry, he will do phantom, he needs to.
Did no one notice that he burped? no? ok... 2:04
MEEEE

I would very much love to see a solo rock album from Adam.
I got to hear him in Rent live in Los Angeles! amazing vocals!
Geese I never thought he’d be able to sing like that this is the perfect role from him it was like u never thought he would be a great phantom but he would
I love you, Adam.
He can be whatever the hell he wants. He's beautiful and amazing no matter what
omg he DOES hace the voice of the phantom!!! wish that could happen :(( althoughhh not gonna lie it kinda lacks the "velvety thickness" most artists who played phantom has.
why isnt this guy judus in the revival of superstar, Amazing vocals
I could see that!
YUMMY Phantom Adam P. ROCK on with your Bad Self!!!!
He should have done the movie...at least he can sing
:-) Oh snap!
i think he was doing the rent movie at that time though.
i would never see him in Phantom Memphis was enough though i loved him in Rent and Aida
exCUSE ME WHAT I NEED HIM AS THE PHANTOM IMMEDIATELY
Damn! I didn't know Pascal had those vocal chops. Cast him as Phantom now! (Is it still running?)
Its always running :-)
pssh is it still running
markhh Me either! i had no idea he had that range!
markhh phantom has been running for like over 25 years
30 years.
"Heartsick" by the fictional band, 'No Vacancy' in school of rock is Adam Pascal's best vocal performance in my opinion. So suitable haha
Omg I just saw him as Shakespeare in Something Rotten! He was amazing!!!
Saw him in the Something Rotten Tour, he was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
Brenda Burt same here. I was lucky enough to see him in Rent as well. He is amazing.
"i dont want the phantom people to come and take advantage of me and hire me"😭
I LOVE TBIS VIDEO OMG
lol saw him in Something Rotten in the Boston Tour
Paul Stanley (a.k.a Starchild) played the Phantom for a while. Why not Adam?
Really? Is there a recording of him as the Phantom?
Wow, he clears his throat a lot.
He used to literally do it while singing all the time... "breaking" his voice every other line. BUT I LOVE IT.
Years of smoking
I would totally dig Adam Pascal as the Phantom.
The actor who they cast in the movie version had a more "rock" style to his voice, and I thought it was PHANTASTIC... :D
i almost rolled over in laughter "buck up"
OMG, the camera guy! stop with the zoom-in-zoom-out every 3 secs!
Ugha I love him so much.
PLEASE adam sing more phantom songs!!!!!!!!!
he can do the "who" like nobody's business, that's what so great!
I sang Pity The Child for an audition.... It's not easy, gotta love the high C's if you've got em though.... Thank the lord for big range.....
He could have been a good Fiyero too.
Its funny at 3:11 seth is tellin him words and adam repates and is like oo ya haha i love adam!!!
lot of constriction. i do that, too. how do you get rid of it? I see myself doing that alot and i'm afraid if i don't get this problem fixed, i may lose/do damage to my voice. He's fantastic though, and I think Adam can sing.

He would be one of the best phantoms ever.
I would love to see him in Jekyll & Hyde!
I love his laugh
AMAZING 🤩😂🤣
Stop I love him
"were not gonna pay rent!" omg i cracked up
11 am in the morning, seth?
Guys, he could one day be in Phantom and actually do quite well, don't judge. C'mon, everyone deserves a shot.
Even easier: I never call. A crazy thing to try, Just in case she said, "Why?" (followed by, "Still got it!")
dang, he sounds great. i mean great!
He would make a great Jesus in superstar :)
I personally would rather see him as Judas
@@LishNess1 yessssssss! I would freaking die for him as Judas. I've seen some awesome people play Judas, the last one being Tim Minchin, but I was literally hoping i'd find a performance of him doing JCSS
Phantom of the Rock Opera
Gavin Creel is so talented. he can really sing.
Geez... I thought I was obsessed with Adam Pascal before! lol (has anyone else seen Goyband? No? Just me?)
Me!!! It was so good
I want to be friends with these guys
Broadway production of POTO, please cast him as the phantom. It'd be amazing!!
"Roger" sounds so great! But he's no longer blonde. "One song glory, one song before I go, glory. From the pretty boy frontman, who wasted opportunity."
And that is significant to Broadway...how (besides the obvious fact that one of its stars burped)?
Um... Have you ever heard Phantom? The only song that's pop-ish is Phantom of the Opera. All the others are extremely operatic. I don't know what you're talking about.
He's a great singer for certain songs. However, I just might chew through my arm if he was ever cast as Phantom.
id love to see him play the dad in next to normal..
it honestly no phantom is as much a rock concert as it is an opera so the rocky vocals are strangely appropriate
who got pheels
Phantom of the Rock maybe
I think he'd be a good phantom. Definitely a different rock and roll phantom.
He sang pitty the child pretty well, music of the night so much. It was weird he’s got this Not A tenor more a rock singer vibe going on which works well for chess but not for The Phantom.
I feel like he needs to be Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar...
I’d be there front row
He's trying too hard to pull all of his chest weight into his belt and it's causing - as you say - constriction. he sounds like david bowie
I'm never going to hear the ending of that song the same again. I wouldn't call to tell her I was HOT... xD
Oh Adam.. why must you be *SUCH* a cutie??
Thought I was the only one! xD
Would be a very different phantom than like Ramin but I dig it...similar to Colm in my opinion
Besides, he is hot as hell! Gorgeous man!
If for some ridiculous reason, Phantom is in risk of closing, cast him, why not, YOLO. but he should never be cast as the phantom, he's great but he doesn't have the voice for it
omg roger and the phantom are my two dream roles
3:32 has me rolling! he's so freaking hot.
Boom. Pregnant.
yikes. he really doesn't have those high notes, does he?
he would work as the phantom! but he would have to be less "good" ? ok maybe i'm used to hear phantoms who are not that polished. ok so that i'm clear i would love to hear him *but* not sure he'd get it unless. (but who cares what i think lol)
savaaage
no he needs to play jesus, i need to hear him sing "Gethsemane"
maybe like a "TPOTO" concert or something but not on broadway. I love you adam but you just have a different voice
bahahaha 5:42 his face (:
GRASP
Dude, if Peter Jöback can be the Phantom why not Adam Pascal? Just saying.
these comments..lol
Well, Phantom is a pop musical, so I think he'd fit.
