I love Adam to death, he's a top fave of mines but I think Phantom would be a weird fit vocally, would love to hear him as Judas though.

actorguy213 I love the song the last stanza to outro sucks! But I think Adam did it pretty well. There’s this Singer From Australia named Darryl Braithwaite, he sang it On this Show called Hey Hey it’s Saturday. By far the best attempt I’ve ever heard.
I think Anthem would be my pick from chess to sing because it’s a nice song and it still knocks the audience’s Socks off! But it’s pretty easy.
I want him to be Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages.

i somehow, since the 90s, had the good fortune of inadvertently seeing Adam Pascal in all his major roles. My favorite role (aside from my nostalgia for Rent back then) has been seeing him as Freddie in Chess

If Adam Pascal gets cast as the Phantom this year, 2022, I would literally book a flight to New York ASAP. I mean, come on! It's a no-brainer, considering his vocal prowess. Case and point, "Pitty the Child" from Chess in Concert, 2008: Live at the Royal Albert Hall. And all his singing shown in this vid. What on earth did he mean when he said he couldn't do that anymore? He just killed it here!

lot of constriction. i do that, too. how do you get rid of it? I see myself doing that alot and i'm afraid if i don't get this problem fixed, i may lose/do damage to my voice. He's fantastic though, and I think Adam can sing.

I saw him in Memphis and he was phenomenal! But honestly, he is no Hugh Panaro or Ramin Karimloo. He would stick out so much with Christine and Raul and everyone else in the cast being classically trained. I love him so much, but I just can't see it working too well.

it honestly no phantom is as much a rock concert as it is an opera so the rocky vocals are strangely appropriate
He's a great singer for certain songs. However, I just might chew through my arm if he was ever cast as Phantom.

Um... Have you ever heard Phantom? The only song that's pop-ish is Phantom of the Opera. All the others are extremely operatic. I don't know what you're talking about.

He's trying too hard to pull all of his chest weight into his belt and it's causing - as you say - constriction. Belting, in reality, is only about 80% chest and 20% mix, and the higher you get the more mix you need to put in. Listen to Drew Sarich or Gavin Creel, they're fabulous belters and they don't strain at all.

If for some ridiculous reason, Phantom is in risk of closing, cast him, why not, YOLO. but he should never be cast as the phantom, he's great but he doesn't have the voice for it
