Thanks Del, I'm actually one of the ones that asked if you could do a video about this, it's easier than I was making it out to be, but watching you point it out gives confidence, thank you! God bless!🙏
Good stuff! The mini has some distorsion of its own. Would be cool to hear the combination. But then again you could of course add a pedal as well. And a Marshall stack. And naked ladies. I only write this to qualify as a psycho. Btw love that bag of tuning pegs. Total envy.
I have a few suggestions to add..1 Put a Battery access in back of box. 2 add a stereo jack in place of the Mono output jack. If you cut the the battery black wire, put the wire to the PC Board to the common, and wire the Battery Black wire to the Jack Ring connection ( Sleeve ,Ring, Tip Jack Connections) You end up with a switch that makes up when you plug in your Mono plug into the CBG It turns on the battery. This will let the battery last along time as apposed to being on all the time. I know that it draws a small amount of current when not in use. But why? I hope this helps some, from a first time builder working on the CBG Neck.
I long for the day to see Mr Del shred those Cigar Box Guitar with distortion. You inspired me to build a cigar box guitar at the age of 17. I'm now left with soldering and fretworks. But well...the guitar that I'm building is 3 strings too many😬😬 Anyways, I love your videos!
Yah! I love when you use trimpots! Those little guys paid me a lot of money! Fun fact: The Trimpot was invented by a married couple. Funner Fact, they were my bosses and their kids showed that while the apple doesn't fall far from the tree the apple can roll away and not be nearly as smart as the tree.
My beard is going white but not enough so i have to trim the tasche down, i need it to go pure white like yours to keep a length. I like to leave facial hair comments on guitar videos.
"I never read the instructions"... LOL!
A K A DISTRUCTIONS
I'm putting this in my stratocaster. Thanks for showing us how not to be afraid to do this. I think the trim needs some tone caps on the volume.

I am with you skylark I need all the confidence booster I can get doing any electrical work or building for that matter Thanks Del
Mr Puckett is my idol!

That's pretty good, thanks! I have a nice switch coming tomorrow to shut my battery off, but that is a pretty clever way to do it! Excellent! 👌

Holy poop, that’s insane, but on the good side , yea yea yea
Can this be connected to a 2 pickup guitar?
I make my own little pre-amps in Altoids boxes.
Does the trim pot go up to 11? 🤔😄
How many watts is your Roland Cube amp ?
