Thanks for showing us the tractor. I have a question how many filters do you have in the cabin how hard are they to change? Maybe you could do a video on it? Thanks Michael
This was a really good video. Thanks for posting. I have a Kubota B2601 that I am not happy with so seriously considering this one. The one big hesitation that I have is the two speed HST. The Kubota has a three speed and I do use the medium setting quite a bit. I am concerned that the low in this one is going to be at a crawl.
Thanks for your input! I think the 2 range HST is definitely one of the few downfalls compared to the Kubota B series. If you're not looking for a belly mower it's well worth looking at the CK2620se Cab.
Hi, nice review, great tractor. Buying one today with this exact configuration. What caught my eye in your video is the hydraulic hoses for the loader in all the factory photos hange way down with a big loop before connecting to the rear of the tractor. At 6:01 in your video I see the hoses turn in towards the engine very tightly and then connect close to the frame, eliminating that big loop which I think is excessive hose exposure and a major drawback or poor design. Did your people reroute the hose when installing the loader, or just zip tie the hoses tight to eliminate that awkward loop? Not a huge issue, sure I can alter the routing when I have the tractor, but just though I would ask. Thank you.
Thanks for commenting! Yes, the guys in the shop assemble these, and have changed the loader line routing from "factory" to get rid of the hanging lines. It has to do with turning the fittings and changing angle. It shouldn't be hard to accomplish on yours.
The backhoe on the CX uses the same full size subframe as the larger tractors. It requires a bit of a learning curve, but can come off in less than 2 minutes and go back on in less than 5.
I have a NX 5010 open station, I've been told I can't put a cab on it, I guess they were built with either open station or cab not interchangeable, I feel like it could be done though even if I had to improvise a little. What do you think about it?
I guess it depends on how fancy you'd want it to be. The factory units have different fenders, different control positions inside, the AC compressor up next to the engine, and the cab is completely sealed. They have radio, heat, ac, air filtration, etc. If you were to buy all the factory parts to convert it over it would easily push 20k. That being said, there used to be a lot of companies that would make simple aftermarket enclosures- basically a glass box around the operator station. SOMETIMES they would add an electric heater, but not always. You could rig something like this yet.
I haven't made one, but you'd follow the same procedure as any motorized vehicle. Is it turning over? If no, check electrical (battery first, then safety switches- this tractor has a neutral, seat, brake, clutch, and PTO switch.) These have a pesky seat switch that can freeze and needs a little force to activate in very cold temps. If it turns over but doesn't start, it's likely not getting fuel. That should get you 90% of no start problems.
The posted height is 86.6". That number is always measured with standard AG tires. Your industrial, turf, or R14 options will being it a few inches under that.
Yes. The backhoe is on a full size subframe that makes it easily quick-attach. The rear snowblowers ride on the 3pt hitch and PTO. You could have the snowblower/backhoe switched out in less than 10 mins with no tools.
I was going to buy one until the salesman told me they cost $33,000 CND that is crazy! Maybe in the States, they are less but here in Canada, it's an insane price!
That's about right. In the U.S. they're almost 30k with loader and mower deck. The cab is a $7,000 feature and it's no different than other full size tractor cabs with all the HVAC, sound, and electronics.
Hey, James. As I mentioned, this model can't be equipped with the mower and backhoe at the same time. The backhoe is pretty stout on these and utilized a full length subframe that interferes with the mower deck and vice-versa.
@@kentonequipment4687 not attached at the same time but would i be able to buy both on the same machine ? to run the mower while the backhoe is off the tractor or vice versa
@@jameswatkins7278 You would have to do hours of work removing the backhoe subframe mounts and installing the mower mounts, and vice-versa. It really wouldn't be practical. What most people who need the larger model do is run a rear finish, or forgo the mower altogether and get a dedicated zero turn.
@kentonequipment4687 which cx model had a cab first? As far as I know, kubota started putting the cab on the b2650/3350, which began production in 2013. The ck2510 started production a year later. But they didn't even start putting cabs on that model till around 2016.
Looks nice does mower attachment come with the tractor, really nice I'm sure it will be put to good use

Is it worth getting it?

Best tractor made...had mine for 20yrs..
If there is a backhoe on the back and you want to use the pto , how much time is it to pull the backhoe off to utilize the pto ?
The backhoe on the CX uses the same full size subframe as the larger tractors. It requires a bit of a learning curve, but can come off in less than 2 minutes and go back on in less than 5.

What is the top speed in low gear? I see high is listed at 10.7 mph
What size is the front bucket?
Narrowest it can be
Nice video
50" is the standard size
Beautiful tractor 😊
Is there a troubleshooting video for starting?

I changed out the battery and it works beautifully!!!
how tall is the cx2510 with cab
The posted height is 86.6". That number is always measured with standard AG tires. Your industrial, turf, or R14 options will being it a few inches under that.
Can the side doors on this be latched back and run with them open?
No sir. They can be removed with tools, but this cab (like most others) can't be taken apart on the fly. You CAN run with the back window open.
@kentonequipment4687 thanks for the information!
could I put a front mounted snow blower with hydraulic chute rotation and deflector?
I have a front mounted snowblower on my same tractor … I’m having starting issues though for our first big snowstorm and need help!!
Can you easily change from backhoe setup to a rear snowblower setup?
Yes. The backhoe is on a full size subframe that makes it easily quick-attach. The rear snowblowers ride on the 3pt hitch and PTO. You could have the snowblower/backhoe switched out in less than 10 mins with no tools.

Hello, is engine hood made of plastic?
This is one of the few models where it is in fact plastic.
Ummmm... No, it is metal.
Could a 48 inch deck be put on this tractor
No, sir. They only make the 60" deck for this larger model. The unit is about 50" from outside rear tires so 48" wouldn't even cover the track width.

Usually those smaller cab tractors only have heat in the cab. This has a/c I'm in.
It does, that's what makes it so special!
About how much with mid mount mower and a backhoe ?

Pretty interesting how much Kioti copies Kubota the more i look at the brand.
Interesting, in this specific case the CX beat Kubota to market with a heat/AC cab tractor this size.
Is this Kioti competitive with the Kubota B2650/LX2610 size machine? Or is the Kioti smaller?

I would need more power than that. I pull logs out of the woods for firewood.
