I honestly never heard of Danielle Dax until the host of a podcast played one of her songs. By that point, I was curious to hear more because I think she's phenomenal.
I love Danielle Dax since mid '80s. She and her music (as well as her other talents) must be appreciated much more! I also love Holly Warburton who did some of her album jackets photography. Great British female collaboration. Thank you for upload.
I remember being asked to take a piece of music I liked into my school O level lesson & I took this in. There were 4 of us plus the teacher. The other girls were gobsmacked 😂 The teacher was amazing & although she clearly didn't like it, she managed to analyse it & pull out all the influences. Unfortunately I wasn't able to keep up & failed my exams. Still always good to listen to😊
uhmmmmm. Had to look up the lyrics because of the N word.... Odd in current times to be hearing it in a Danielle Dax track but the lyrics & title seem to point to a criticism/damn nation of white supremacy/racism. And likely back in a time when this slur was more accepted or tolerated among non POC i guess? This is the first time hearing this album in its entirety and love it. Thank you for uploading.

Totally underrated. Played this vinyl a thousand times.
Came here thanks to an article about the music that made Chloe Sevigny.
Thank you Chloe

This album never received the recognition it deserved. So good!
In the field of musical originality, this stunning, wonderous mini-album is in the top echelons!
Been listening to Dax since the 80s and I gotta say her music never ages. Dax is the shit! A true artist.
Lemon kittens too❤
I have lost all my old Danielle Dax vinyl, so it is a bittersweet pleasure to listen to this album again. Thank you for putting it up.

I've always loved this album. It reminds me of absent friends.
Friends? They never were friends!

When she played it live she introduced it as an anti racist song so that is where her heart lies even if the words used are confronting.
yeah its shocking, but that has got to be the intention (especially since the song has been labeled as "EVIL" haha
