Elijah is so closed minded and self centered, he doesn’t see that this video actually had nothing to do with him at all!! Yes, elsy brought up the breakup as a way to explain her motivation to change, but this video was all about how elsy is improving her life. If he takes that to be an attack towards him, then I think we can all agree that it’s because even he acknowledges he was a dead weight in her life 🙄🙄

I left an 8 year toxic relationship and moved across the country, it was SO hard but I finally did it and feel soooo good, so peaceful and happy now, the things I have done in such a short amount of time is amazing ♡ I never thought I could do it. I needed this, my baby‘s father and I just recently broke up, our baby is 6 weeks old, and my heart aches that we were not able to work through our issues and that our journey as a family ended so quick. I am being brave for my son and I, and I’m determined to move on forward, but some days are just harder than others. Thank you so much for this!

I didn’t go through a break up with a kid, but I did go through a break up from a toxic relationship. Nothing helped better than being alone and learned to love myself and learn to be alone and not depend on no one to be happy. It’s so good to be back hanging out with my friends, not worried about what someone might be doing behind my back, not worried about anything. In such a better mindset now. So glad you are as well ☺️

I was in a toxic relationship and it took me 13 years and 3 kids to walk away, almost 6 years free and although it's not easy it's way easier than allowing abuse for years after years! Soo proud of you not just for choosing to live a life with respect but also for sharing it publicly and bringing hope to those that still feel trapped.
Took me 5yrs and just like Elijah posted this video on his IG saying it’s BS. That’s exactly what my ex did. He tried to bash me. 8yrs later I’m here happy with a wonderful husband living a life i never imagined bcus I was in such a toxic environment to understand there’s better out there.

My take on it is that he’s saying “she’s fake” bc perhaps Elsy does miss/love him still. She may also still have him over and they may still hook up. Then realizes she deserves better and stops and then it turns into a vicious cycle bc that’s what toxic relationships are. There’s no boundaries, there’s trauma, there’s trauma bonds, etc. People tend to forget people’s brains don’t fully develop until the age of 25. So people make mistakes and that’s totally normal for the average person. Imagine what happens when that person experienced severe trauma? Therapy is needed for both parties involved and self care. Therapy for the abuser and therapy for the victim.
After going through so much , you deserve all the happiness this life has to offer ❤️

I’m in the same boat. I feel like there’s no one to call to because I don’t want my friends and family to know everything that happened to me in that relationship and it went on during my pregnancy. Watching videos like these gives me hope to one day get the peace I once did in my life. I wanted to stay and work things out but always felt so stupid going back to someone who clearly didn’t love me but he represented the life I wanted and without him I would never had the family I longed for. No morning family cuddles, being those parents that kissed in front of their kids, no forever. I told myself I was going to wait five years but the more I thought about it I realized that it wasn’t going to be healthy for my son to see the way his father treated me. My new dream is to raise my son to be that man I wanted his father to be.
