I have been your listener from the 1st episode. Personally, I think you are one of the best analysts of Inter, true fans with lack of classical biases and with very competent and objective analysis of the club, including its squad, market activity, and owners' strategies.
The only thing I would like to bring are the statements of Inter's executives, during Steven's regime, that the club would not need to sell important players this summer. So, for me, Oaktree has no credit for this. Furthermore, the Zhangs only started selling core players after Covid, due to financial issues.
So far, Oaktree has shown no intention of investing in a winning project, acting like they purchased Atalanta and buying hot prospects that are not ready probably for Bologna, let alone Inter. Having said that, they also interfere with the Marotta's transfer strategy. I fear not singing Ricardo Rodriguez will be Oaktree's biggest contribution to that aspect.

Thanks for this comment! Glad to hear there are long-time listeners. 😍
Yeah as for the Oaktree, we've shared the same concern, what's their end-game with the club.

The situation with frattesi is a really weird one at inter.
While he does play in the same right mezz'ala position, the role he has on the pitch is different on offense.
Barella usually helps the defenders and calha in the early build up and later he either crosses from the sides or stays at the edge of the box to shoot from outside, he does make some runs once in a while but it is pretty rare.
Meanwhile frattesi is often the man running in the spaces to receive a passa during the breaks and is always in the box with the attackers in later stages/set pieces.
Which is more similar to what mikitahrian does on the pitch, even though he does it from the opposite side.
The match against monza where frattesi and mikitahrian played together(very poorly, because imo they were stamping on each other's feet) is a good example.
The thing is that although frattesi and barella can play together neither is at their best on the left side, so i really do not see a solution that sees him getting a lot of minutes this year, more than last season, but not by much.

Thanks for the comment! To me Barella can play on the left but it leaves the right side so weak when it comes to the possession game. We need to switch our style a bit when Frattesi plays.

I agree - we need to go almost best 11 against Monza to build momentum, and then rotate heavier against Udinese after the big games. We should be able to get 9 pts in the league and I’d be stoked with draw against city.

Ricci if he keep this kind of performance in Italy jersey, knowing Cairo, he will end up at EPL .. Which is sad to see personally hhhha
Watching Raspadori in this game, I really hope Inter can get him .. He is so perfect for 2 man striker formation ..

Ricci and Raspadori would be interesting adds to Inter for sure! 😛

“Vlahovic is a significantly more talented player than Lautaro.” What a load of crap. Even juventini would agree .. really strange take
