I've never been more sold on a tool. You remind me of the neighborhood guy in the 80s that could fix anything, and made me want to be that guy when I grow up. Which I did.

I'm a retired Automatic transmission builder/Mechanic.It AMAZES ME that todays mechanics/wannabes never use an AIR CHISEL A bit thats FLAT on end will annihilate rust, period!!. But they would rather burn things up with a torch, can't tell these mo mo's NOTHING,Do it the HARD WAY STUPID!.

So simple but so ingenious, lots of odd hard jobs this would help with, especially when you have zero room to hammer or slide a slide hammer

After I saw the going price, I thought of making it myself though it won't be as purdy.

    • @geecrawdad

@@jessihawkins9116 I remember seeing this and thinking how simple it is. You're just reversing the force of the air hammer and I think someone could make one cheaply. Using an actual air hammer bit, like a long chisel or tapered, it seems it would be half done. Those bits are pretty hard so maybe you can't cut threads into them to join them up with other attachments but welding or some other way of connecting two rods and I don't see why it couldn't be done, certainly for less than $200.

3:41 A hammer and no axle fork on the ground behind him. Camera cuts to him removing axle which appears to be already loosened and at 3:53 we see that the hammer has been moved and there is now a axle puller fork on the ground behind him. Sorry Harold, you had me intrigued, but you definitely lost me now.
