I don't think general trends would change if Dalglish stayed. United would still be team of the 90s and beyond but with Dalglish and better leadership Liverpool could have been clear No2 throughout the decade and beyond. It's a very interesting "what if" not so much for Liverpool as for entire Premier League project that would end up being similar to continental leagues with clear cut switchable top 2 clubs (Real/Barca) instead of a dominant team and a more open field challengers (like United had in Newcastle/Blackburn/Arsenal/Chelsea). Hillsborough set so many things in motion.
@@abhayvashishtha3312 Thanks mate. I do want to look at each of the Shankly/Paisley/Fagan times in more depth, had to cut so much from the first bit to stop it being 2 hours long
Joe Fagan was playing at other clubs up until 1955, and if Harry Catterick had recommended Joe to Shanks, then the very earliest he could've been at Liverpool was 1959.
What other Liverpool stories shall we cover in the future?
An In depth look at the closest title race ever would be great .
Thomas !!!
FINALLY its here...🤩😍
Thanks for this brother...❤
Got more Liverpool coming up this week

Really really enjoyed watching this vid... Ynwa
Thanks mate: couple more Liverpool videos this week to come
You should cover Kevin Keegan’s Newcastle Entertainers in the future. Really good video man.
Cheers mate, I’ll put it on the list
Joe Fagan won a treble in he's first season
He did, thanks for pointing that out

Dalglish ruined Liverpool, it was already done when Sounness took over. Look at Dalglish as a manager post Liverpool, dull straight lines football.
Bill shankly era
Great content by the way

'Losing their lives in a crush'
Feels like you’re glossing over the Liverpool fans' contribution to the disaster, there.
Now there was no way I was gonna portion any blame out to Liverpool supporters.
