my biggest issue with this scene is probably that they just reused the scene from when Darkseid arrived on earth with just changing the sprite from DS to Steppen, and adding an overlay to the etchings in the ground to show the symbol
Isn’t that the purpose of this scene, from what I could tell at least, the idea of the scene is the boxes showing Stephan wolf anti life equation paralleling the earlier scene with dark side as it was established that Stephan wolf betrayed him and tried to over throw him, the boxes are meant to corrupt the mind showing a better reality for you, like what they tried to do with cyborg at the end. I thought that it made sense in terms of the movie but that’s just me.
Seems kind of weird that Darkseid knew of this when he first invaded Earth, but somehow forgot? And none of his hundreds of thousands of soldiers thought to inform him of the giant eldritch runes carved into the planet's surface??
And even if he didn’t know about the anti-life equation, wouldn’t going back to get the mother boxes be a pretty big priority? Like he lost them there. Straight up brought his cooler to the Earth War Cookout and left it there and never thought to come back. 🤔
@@SeanTanktop He didn’t actually know what planet he was invading, it’s not like one can choose where the Boom Tubes created by the Boxes send them, the three Mothers have their own will, but they are mainly programmed to aid Darkseid in his endless conquest, that’s why they sent him to Earth, because they had found the equation there, and so would he, once he had used the unity to scorch the planet. The other thing is that Darkseid and the other New Gods can’t really travel to Earth without a Boom Tube because they live in a separate dimension from ours, the only reason Steppenwolf was able to arrive in Temischira was because the Mother Boxes had awakened upon SuperMan’s death and summoned him back. For some reason, they seemed extremely dedicated to help Steppenwolf finding his redemption for Darkseid, whether it was a legitimate wish to aid him or a predicted plot that would eventually lead to his death we can’t be sure.

my biggest issue with this scene is probably that they just reused the scene from when Darkseid arrived on earth with just changing the sprite from DS to Steppen, and adding an overlay to the etchings in the ground to show the symbol
It seemed like the vision from the mother box was showing him when darkseid found it earlier, but swapping him in to show him. To me at least 🤷🏻♂️
@@Reece-Playz "Stephan" Wolf lmao
Now that's just toxic nitpicking lmaoo
@@gentle_singularity stfu
Is it just mere coincidence that the antilife equation has an omega symbol just like Darkseid has?
It's more that Darkseid is just so obsessed with getting the Anti life equation he got a tattoo of it lol
Steppenwolf had such sad eyes I felt so bad for him
I have a question is this video got a copy claim warning or not?
Seems kind of weird that Darkseid knew of this when he first invaded Earth, but somehow forgot? And none of his hundreds of thousands of soldiers thought to inform him of the giant eldritch runes carved into the planet's surface??
And even if he didn’t know about the anti-life equation, wouldn’t going back to get the mother boxes be a pretty big priority? Like he lost them there. Straight up brought his cooler to the Earth War Cookout and left it there and never thought to come back. 🤔
@@SeanTanktop
He didn’t actually know what planet he was invading, it’s not like one can choose where the Boom Tubes created by the Boxes send them, the three Mothers have their own will, but they are mainly programmed to aid Darkseid in his endless conquest, that’s why they sent him to Earth, because they had found the equation there, and so would he, once he had used the unity to scorch the planet.
@@SeanTanktop Honestly that I can understand, because he got fked up mighty good by the Old Gods. Going back in that weakened state to fight an already prepared enemy is just a faster form of euthanasia.
Yeah I think Zack said it’s because he got fucked up and when he went back home he was in a struggle for power and by the time that he won everyone he was with on earth had been killed, I’d say this would have been explored in a sequel to JL
@@michaelohanlon5545 If that's the case that's reasonable enough I guess
Is there a wide-screen version available for the movie?
To be honest his face is adorable 😂
The part where steppenwolf grabs his axe and slams it on the ground looked sick🔥
La CGI est incroyable comme le film
Hats off to the fine details in building up the scenario
It's quite amazing how Joss Whedon's Steppenwolf is disgusting and bad however Snyder's Steppenwolf is actually both Terrifying and Cute
This is going to sound weird, but this steppenwolf has really pretty eyes. Well, I find them pretty. They are very expressive. They can show regret, or defference like the ones of a puppy, but also can be menacing and filled with rage and hatred when the ocassion rises 😅🥰🤭😋
The cgi is fucking perfect here
Only real Og's know that steppenwolf have 6 fingers
He has 7.
This villain is badass ! I like. #RestoreTheSnyderverse #JusticeLeague2 #ManOfSteel2
0:49 ... Damn that puppy eyes ... Awesome cgi
0:48 those eyes can defeat superman and entire league.
Why did you crop the clip ? 4/3 is better
Steppenwolf gone mad coz just like most people, he didnt understand the equation.

@@redcomet6833 You're incorrect. The symbol you refer to is "Om" which is a symbol in Hinduism etc. @LoL is correct in his statement. The two are different.
