It’s always neat to see what treasures everything holds. Hundreds of Wine-Os had a heart attack when you pulled that mini fridge apart. It killed me a little when you cut the wires off the Thermo Electric Cooler module. When in doubt, melt more. Almost 2lbs of extruded aluminum just teased out there and left us hanging. Still a great video, keep em coming.
You're absolutely right brother! I was half expecting that wine fridge to be better than the first one I did in the first series. I'll never scrap one of those out again, unless I'm really desperate for aluminum! Then again, I am sitting on a couple hundred pounds of it in my blue bin... My feeling was, the unit didn't work so a scrappin' I did 😁 Thanks for watching brother and Happy New Year!
Good video Brother. But I thought you were done with the PAIN of Coolers. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Glad you checked the transformer again. Finding a MIX of Copper and Aluminum in many appliances. Those Mini fans are good for hobbies, but ya, lack much copper. I'm on VACA for a bit. Going to do some scrapping and clean up my mess... 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'll send you some pics. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Thanks brother! Lol, I never learn my lesson the first time! Yeah, I was so pissed at myself for not "thoroughly checking it" Live and learn! Hope you enjoy your time off and get that carport clean! Happy New Year brother!
Thanks brother! You know, I was actually thinking about that today. I think I can incorporate that into the videos, even adding a caption during the wrap-up at the end 🙂. It’s a lot of fun (scrapping and melting the metal) 😁
If you havent already scrapped the 3d-printer i would advise you to either sell as is or troubleshoot and repair it and sell. Or just keep and play around with. They are really primitive machines so most components survive most things. I would look at the power supply and the motherboard and screw around a bit before scrapping it out. Looks like a Ender 3 v2 and theres a litteral tonne of videos of repairs on it. Check it out first i would say. Other than that all thats of value to it is 4 nema 17 steppers worth of copper and the frame made almost entirely of aluminium extrusion. And a bunch of thin wires.
Come to think about it your channel could really benefit from having a working 3d printer. Opens up to a whole LOT of casting options like lost pla plaster casting and making complex open side sandcasting figures like Coins or whatever
Brother, there is nothing wrong with that 3d printer 🤣. That is NOT GETTING SCRAPPED OUT. It’s only on the floor for now because I have no place to put it 😂
@@Scrap2Cast oh my bad ive Been watching your videos on and off but dont remember seeing a 3d-printer being used and the way it was just sitting on the ground assumed it was destined to be scrapped 😂 If you feel like doing more of designwork and showing that and melting kind of stuff i would be really interested in that with settings/getting started and stuff because i have been getting into trying that out with my own printer but dont know where to start
Hahaha no worries brother! I know the warehouse is a mess with scrap scattered everywhere 🤣. I’m absolutely horrible with 3d printing. I’ve never designed my own model, normally I download already made up models on thingiverse and just scale them. Sometimes I use Meshmixer to split models into pieces so they can be casted. I’m actually casting a miniature cannon tonight and doing a video on that. It’s about 10 inches long 😁
I always cover the hose!! Great ingot man!! 🔥🔥🔥
Same here, accidents can happen! Thanks brother!!! 🙂👊🏼👍🏼

Definitely one of the nicest ingots you have poured. Good job!
Thanks buddy, much appreciated!!!
That bar come out good heating the mold good and spreading the pour really helps make the bottom of the bar smooth.
Thanks brother! Took your advice and started heating the molds on top of the lid. Noticing better bars because of it 😁
Beautiful copper bar. Great job brother 👍
Thanks so much brother. I hope you, your family, Walker and the fur balls have a Happy New Year! 🙂👍🏼👊🏼
I never thought about using a log splitter for liberating copper...🤔🧐...🤯..🥰...👏👊🤙(cooper heart ;) !!!!
Hahahahaha me neither! Unfortunately it was a failure! However, it does a mighty fine job of removing plastic parts from the internal guts of VCR’s 🤣
First to view this week! Sitting here at work on my first break. My forge will be here on the 6th, can't wait to start casting!
Hell yeah brother! Can't wait to see your first casting! Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed your video very much
Thanks a bunch brother and thanks for watching! 🙂👊🏼☮️
Awesome little ingot. I like the top side pattern you got from it too. Not much out of that but you got some nice aluminum along with the copper. 👍
I like it too. The stack needs a variety of ingots, I realized that once I saw how nice this one came out. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video and nice copper bar always thanks for sharing s2c

Cool videos man. Could you maybe add how much money you could make from the scraps on each video? Cool stuff it makes me want to do it

I’ve used the 3d printer several times on the channel. Check out some of my content from last year. 😁
