Hey Chris nice video, will look forward to watching more. I bet it’s lovely scrapping up there in in the shetlands and not a lot of other people doing it?
I know prices are low at the moment but you should get around 5.80a kg for bright copper giving you nearer £60 rather than £40, change your yard if you only get 40, some nice scrap finds 👍 edit. Missed the bit where you said you was on the Shetlands. Probably makes a big difference
what graphics card is in that computer ? looks like a geforce fx 5200 or geforce 4 MX440, sorry can't help it, big gpu collector here :D nice video! (if you get lots of gpu's through the year i would like to buy them plus shipping to denmark (for a fair price)
You have a good eye! It is an fx 5200 I have limited knowledge on these types of things but do know i have a bin with maybe 20+ in. This particular one has been out in the rain so not sure if it's any use but I'll have a sort through what i haveand get back to you. Thanks for the sub 😊
How do you process the gold strips off pc's etc.just wondering ad I've seen it done with chemicals, and seems to be a lot of faffing around for little gain.
I haven't processed any of mine yet but getting a good stockpile. Scrapping Irish has lots of great videos about gold recovery, quite in depth. He's the man for that. Thank you for watching 😊
I am yet another new subscriber thanks to Ian Matthews. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to in Shetland. 👍
Thank you, hope you enjoy the videos 😊

@@ecoscrapper3501 Your welcome :) they dont need to work, its for hanging on the wall :) but they need to look decent :) thanks
Are you sure it's a leaf blower? It kind of looks like a leaf vacuum to me. Things are sometimes a bit different over there.
I had no idea there was such a thing as a leaf vacuum. Maybe the stripdown will show us.
@@ecoscrapper3501 Yeah, here there are a few brands of handheld leaf vacs. Many can switch between blower and vac and some mulch as well.
How do you strip your fine wire with knife or machine 🤔
All of mine i strip with a machine. Can do even the thinnest wires 😊
Oh, I'm here to tell you that Ian is sorry.
😳😉
😂 i watched...i remember the days of multiple yards and better prices. Apologies are not necessary in the scrapping family 😊
