The section from 1:10 to 1:32 where it just runs by itself looks like a breaking wave. Beautiful!
I so wish they had pulled it there and called it done. The pattern was gorgeous
It's like it is chewing up the universe with a dash of romantic swerling music.......
Whomever decided to start posting videos of color mixing silicone, thank you. If I had that job I'd probably listen to music similar to this and cry every day that such beauty is so fleeting. So many deep thoughts would be had whilst getting lost in the swirls of color.
It looks like an ocean 👍
Waves by the shore, more like.
It does 👍

This is one of the best silicone rubber mixing videos on UA-cam. Underappreciated.
Appreciate that
Greg is right
Amazing how those 2 tiny bits of colour (white and navy) could make the whole thing change!
NAVY?????
@@romanmiller8161 Naby blue.
1:08 - that view and the way it was blending, that was beautiful!
I’m not the only one who thinks that looks like a delicious candy am i?
The red looks like jolly rancher candy
No you are not the only one who thought it was gummy candy
Reminds me of taffy😯
It does remind me of a hi-chew
No friend, you are not alone, the army shall one day notice us, until then remain strong my friend
I Just Love The Marbling Of The Colors In The Silicone Rubbers
Wow! Ocean in motion. Very cool!
If you just let it run, how long do you suppose it would take to mix?
It's cool how much a tiny piece of dye makes such a big difference
🌊🌊 It looks like a whole ocean. 🌊🌊
I got so sad when he cut it.......the ocean went away
I'd stop it at that swirling stage. That's beautiful!
This looks what I think heaven looks like congrats and it looks like a two sided world
This is how they make Smurfs
Cool colour!
My question now is, what happens to this, after it is coloured?
This silicone is a heat curable silicone rubber, so it is cast under heat and pressure to make silicone rubber parts or rubber coated cables.
It can become parts of a foot flop, hand sanitizer holder, dental pik holder, or even a part of a child toy. Silicon can become anything.
Where do you think only fans girls get their rubber dingos from?😉
All those colorful kitchen tools are made of this stuff.
Why is this so soothing to watch!?
Woah that color is beautiful asf😍
Very cool!! Agree best silicone rubber mixing. Does look like a breaking wave.
I really enjoy watching colors move and change like this.
i make rolled cathedral glass for a small company in west virginia, and god i could watch you guys do the same basics with silicone til the day i die. just so satisfying
This is insanely cool
I know the manufacturing process requires a uniform color for a uniform product, but I _love_ the marbling patters made during the process!
I got so entranced I kinda forgot to blink a good few times watching this.😂
The smallest of things are sometimes the most vibrant and beautiful, a small spec that looks to be black, soon spreads it’s true vibrant self across creation, heartwarming truely
How does that tiny make ALL that such a nice deep blue?! ❤️
Prepare to be added to my toddlers night videos. Expect 40k views from us alone 😂😂😂😂
It's really beautiful. I really want to know what color it is, phthalocyanine blue?
Wow, amazing 🥺
Художник в восторге и немом шоке.
Даже два кусочка красителя могут сотворить шедевр лучше чем ты сам |_(
The artist is delighted and mute shocked.
Even two pieces of dye can create a masterpiece better than yourself |_(
It makes me want to go to the coast .
So beautiful
3:55
Nice design 👌
Very beautiful 😍 🌊
Why keep stirring when it can be just like that?
I want this job!!!
It's beautiful I love the marbled affect and the way the colour splits in to so many shades from the deep dark blue to the palest blue and in to the white although the finished result looks good but I sometimes wish them to stop turning it and stop blending it but don't know what point that would be!
No sé porque me causa tanta satisfacción ver éstos videos
Omg so beautiful
Amazing colors, incredible patterns, oh my god this is pure art!
>We're just trying to make it the same color everywhere, hah
D:
That's Amazing
lol it looks like wax . the sea with endless waves .
1:08 You can stop. It . . . it's done! Stop the machine! It's perfect!
Thank you very cool
What is this stuff used for?
Beautifull process, good workl.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.." -John 3:16. Jesus of Nazareth, The Messiah, died for the remission of sin, including yours, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day, and whoever believes on him has everlasting life in heaven. Jesus himself said in John 6:47 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."
Gonna make a video that shows the static. It’ll have static jumping from one side to another. I’ve done this for 22+yrs. I work with up to a 60”mill and mix every color you can think of (blue and yellow are the best)
Hola, estoy haciendo mezcla de silicona, tengo problemas, podrías ayudarme ? parece que se le mete mucho aire a la mezcla, después de la vulcanización sale medio quemado, arrugado, sabes a que se debe ?
Music is perfection
and you coincidentally produced a shade of blue chevy made famous as a car paint color in the mid twentieth century how cool is that lol
Air heads blueberry candy looking nice
It's Magic!
this is so neat! Its a lot like making puff pastry! Cept i would not recommend eating this dough lolol
Finding myself sitting here wondering which is the artist: the one doing the mixing or the one videoing the mixing? 💙
Kon say silicon say solar wire bnaai jati h.
Wire bnanay may silicon ko kaisay estaymall kiya jata h.
Everyone is admiring the satisfaction of the mixing process but if accidentally, the hand of that guy gets squeezed in between the rollers.
What's the objects that was used for coloring
Lovely video. Thank you:
Glad you enjoyed it!
The operator has really nice hands, actually.
thanks
The song in this video alludes to the sadness we feel as the ocean pattern slowly begins to fade.
I wonder how many lost a finger already using this machine…
I bet they tried hiring for this job, but had so many applicants that they ended up simply allowing people to pay them to do it. 😊
What is this used for
Please try next one as fast as possible.
I would love to do this for the experience
Cor imagine if you caught your hand in that roller!😮
Voll entspannend, wenn man das anders aufnehmen würde wär das voll der chillige, sich wie Himmel verändernder Hintergrund...😑😵💫😐
I want THIS job
How did that tiny bit of pigment color the whole thing
How did so much color come from such small pieces?
What are these roller machines called? This is so mesmerizing
Two roll rubber mixing mill
"Be careful with that axe Eugene."
My buddy Tommy “Three Fingers” Miller used to do this job.
How make copper colour for use in silicone rubber
It looks like marble when left to freely mix itself
Can I actually do this for a job?!
Every time I watch these I wonder how it feels? To me it looks like soft wax so my brain says it's one way but I'm curious how it actually is?
Woooow
Every time they needed to use the hands I just could think: Damn... I would love to try to automate it.
Like, with a big spatula for it to cut and curl the silicon and something like two cylinders to position it before entering the rollers again.
But I don't know, maybe the differential is being manually manipulated :p
Moses splits the ocean
Is this a job I can acquire?
I am trying to achieve the same color, Cyan color. Can you help me with quantities of color in per 10 kilograms of silicone? Thanks
Hello, I want to make silicone caps, but I have problems when I do the vulcanization, one side appears burnt, but it seems like it is stagnant air
What is this silicone used for
Anything and everything. It's a diverse material
It goes from the crushing foam of the sea to the deep depths
I want to do this..... Someone please tell me where on earth I can do this
It's look like mountains beach cloud ☁️ scenery then glaciers so many veiws
Nobody:
Mike teavea: *traumatized* 😭
It's all about the ripples on the outside edges ...
What is the name of that machine? Like, what is it called? I don't necessarily need the brand name but if you knew it that would be awesome too?
it's called "Xk-250 Two Roll Rubber Mixing Mill"
@@hypertech1 Thank you! I want to start a fashion line using silicone for purses, corset belts, shoes and so on. I think they could possibly get complex, so I'd like to at least be able to make samples and limited runs in house before sending them out to have someone else manufacter. Do you know what the heated pressure machine is called too? I'd also need a cnc router too, so I'll need to buy steel to make the molds out of, correct? Where would I buy the silicone too? Sorry. Lots of questions, but you're the first person to respond to me and the info isn't very easy to find. Do you know the answers? I've scene the pressure machines for sale on alibaba, so I might be able to find one of those. Any info you have would be helpful, like if you have any resources where I could learn how to actually work with silicone in that way I would love it, because I need to know other things as well. Like, how to store the silicone, how to get the correct colors and what pigments do you use? 🙂
Sorry. I got excited that you answered my questions. I was totally hoping you had more answers for me. Lol! 🤣
@@juliettevharris I actually work in the plastic industry, but I do have a bit more advice for you.
#1. The machine you're looking for is called an "Injection Molding Machine". Some places to start your research on a machine would include Engel Machinery, Bekum America Corportation, Bole Machinery, and Trinks, Inc. I would also like to give a shoutout to Arlington Machinery which specializes in selling only USED equipment, which would help keep costs very low (especially for a new startup).
#2. Despite being a large company "Fortune 500" corporation, my company doesn't actually make its own molds; and this is quite common in the plastics industry. Instead, we order our molds from mold making specialist machine shops. The specific one my specific plant uses (and we have 18 plants in the United States) is Mantz Automation Mold Specialists. That's about as far as my advice on molds can go. Not trying to be discouraging, but buying and running your own CNC machine, let alone making your own injection molds, can be incredibly complex! Typically, you need an entire team of engineers to accomplish something like that. So unless you excel in using AutoCAD, you might want to leave mold making to the professionals.
#3. I've never actually seen color mixing done by hand like this. In an industrial setting, coloring is typically done during the plastication process. Usually, the machine will have dosing units on it which contain little pellets of material including color pellets. These are then dropped into a mixer, which then mixes them up. From there, they go into a melter; and the liquid material is then injected into a mold.
#4. I did a little bit of research about this myself, and found a video that actually shows a guy milling some EPDM rubber. You can view it here:
ua-cam.com/video/dic7hCkZTOQ/v-deo.html
Looks like you'd have to figure out a recipe for yourself (I highly doubt any company would give away its secret formulas), but hopefully that helps.
@@SergeantExtreme Thank you! That helps a lot. Sorry it's taken a min to get back to you. I appreciate all your info. Def helps. I'm starting to think that I may need to take some kind of course to understand this a little bit more. I do excel at CAD, but I know that I lack some of the knowledge that I would need to actually pull this off. By any chance do you know of a good online course or program that I would learn more about injection molding and different kinds of silicones, rubbers and so? I think I'd need an industrial design program or a product design program. There is a Parsons/Yellowbrick online program that I was looking at, but it's a lot of money to spend if it's not what I need. It's called Product Design Essentials. It seems a bit gimmicky, but maybe not. It is Parson's after all. I feel like some online courses have very beginner info that you can find for free online. If I'm going to pay $1000 for a class I'd really want to know I'm getting the info that I need. The problem is that you don't know what you don't know, so I don't really know where to start.
To get an idea of what I'd like to be able to do you can look at this guy who does rendered shoe designs on Instagram, named Pet Liger. Here's his link.
instagram.com/petliger?
I obviously I want the shape of the shoe different and I want my own style to it, but you can get an understanding of the look I'm going for. It's def something a shoe design course wouldn't quite be right for, since most heels are made with leather or similar materials. It might still help to take a shoe designing course, but it's not exactly what I need. I was thinking maybe a course on sneakers might be better because they do injection molding, but it's still not quite right. I've seen similar stuff done by Balenciaga, so I know it can be done. If you do a quick Google search of "Pink Rubber Balenciaga Heels" you'll see what I mean. They aren't as complex as far as the pattern, but sneakers can have patterns on them, so it's not that it can't be done. I just don't know if I have the expertise...yet. Did you go to school? You said you're in the plastics industry. Do you know the best place for me to learn this kind of stuff? I really appreciate you answering my questions.
🙂
imagine what those rollers would do to your hand, arm, body
can we just take a moment to appreciate what an amazing material silicone is (_-.-)_
It looks like a glacier 🧊
Anyone else like it more when they just dont touch it like give me video of it just mixing itself it obviously can just start the recording after youve done the first couple of turns to get the color moving
,wow
looks like neptune's clouds
😊 3:05
Bad dragon be like
does anyone know the name of this silicon or where to buy it from ?
They're called HTV solid silicone rubber compounds.
Ugh, why does this look so fun to do. I feel like it might actually be boring to do in person since you're just doing the same thing over and over for assumedly many many batches but damn I wanna roll that bicth
