I appreciate this channel. Some of the silcon videos feel they're mixing colors for the sake of a video, but these guys feel like they're filming an actual manufacturing process. Which is also probably why they usually end with prettier colors
I always fear that the man will reach too far and get both hands caught in the machine and then there will forever be an asian man traped inside a beautiful roll of silicone. Junji Ito could write a manga about that.
If it makes you feel a little better when he has just one hand on it and the other off to the side he looks to be hovering his hand right beside an emergency stop button, that if pressed would instantly stop the machine
I love the videos where we can hear other machines in the background, because it reminds me of modded Minecraft, especially modpacks with Mekanism installed...
This is very interesting. Not at all how I thought silicone products were made. I always wondered how color was so consistant in a product line. Also, tell your camera guy that it's not a Marvel production. He can lay off the zoom.
Not all silicone is made like this. This is an HCR, High consistency silicone rubber. There are other types like LSRs, liquid silicone rubbers, and dispersions which range from paste to water thin before curing. There are ones that cure over days and some that cure over a minute. Ones that are used as adhesive, soft gel fillings and others that foam up. Source: I do QA for a silicone manufacturer.
I might buy a rubber mill and start making my own batches of rubber just because I like watching these so much. The trick would be finding customers for my custom rubber batches.
@@theowarmelink7347 I think those are usually made with poured silicone. This is more likely for press-molded products like kitchen utensils, popits, etc

I used to run a silicone extruder to make dairy tubing and then later Tygon tubing for medical use. You get a nasty shock from those mills sometimes lol

Maybe.

Right, it could have easily just been a tripod instead of a person also
Thumbs up because the Marvel comment made me laugh, but I agree with the other commenter that they likely have auto-zoom on the camera on a tripod.

Excelente!!. El agente de vulcanización que usas es peroxido de Benzoilo?
Always find these satisfying, but I get the feeling these are for all those silicone pop-it toys I keep seeing.

What is this silicone used for? How would you mold them?
We mold it with heat in steel mold.Just put the flake in the mold. You could see some video in this channel. It show the whole course.
Oh my god what are they doing to grimace.
That is so cool!
黄金滚滚来!!!
I hope gold come to me one after another!
0:06 bruh the one piece is teal?
What does the volcanzition agent do? Not specific but what is its general purpose?
It initiates the chemical reaction that cross-links the silicone gum base (the white stuff at the start) into a rubber when it's heated during curing.

What type of product will all these make I'm curious then you added more colours!
WHERE’S THE SAFETY ON THAT HAND MANGLER?!😳
The safety button is the red one at the right and left of the machine
Yes,that it is.We seldom use it.
What color you want the silicon Pat? Put all of it on there and see what we get.
That was like a million pounds of silicone.. Subscribed to you now.

How heavy is that thing to move?
What is this silicone used for?
I don't know if you put enough silicone in there.
You have beautiful hands.... Just saying. 😍
Really?
What is this stuff, what do they use it for
Hi Sarah, watch to the end,and other video could tell you more about this materials.
I did, it doesn’t show anything except her putting it back in the machine, would it not of been easier to just answer the simple question I asked
If you left it marbled it would be sooo perfect 😮

what is in the mixture at 6:09? Looks like foil?
It like a trapped animal.
Thats a lot of rubber on that tiny mill. Why don't you have a blender bar?
Normally, this small machine could mix 1500KG a day. That is enough for a mill of 45 machines.
what is this material used for?

They're putting their hands way too close to the centre of those rollers. Pretty dangerous no?
Yes,but the gap is thick enough could go through flat hand(could not go through fist). And the roller is slow as well.
