J braid is extremely strong. But in my experience it had terrible abrasion resistance. But I use j braid for my bass stuff and the best abrasion resistance braid I have found is sufix 832 advanced Super line, I use it on all my catfish and carp rods.

I'll stick with paying 33 dollars for the same amount of line with sufix which hasn't let me down. If i was rich then sure, I would buy it and try it. But I make Sgt. Pay, not a general's pay.
Very cool trick with the in-line Uni on the spool, I had never thought of that. Mine always sticks up like a .... tree.
