Yk I don't think there's actually any lore precedent for this, botw/totk link was a really good swordsman but not whatever this is
In fact most links aren't trained in combat formally at all, they're just given a sword and they go stab things
It’s insane how different this is from advanced BotW combat
clunkier but more utility and creativity!
@@jakob_0024 definitely mega creative! A lot more slippery and aerial movement focused too rather than using defensive options and flurry rush etc. that would be required in botw where you’re more grounded and don’t have puffshrooms
@@jakob_0024idk. I think botw combat with the glitches were more creative. People were doing some crazy stuff that always shocked me.

1:23 is the most impressive part of the video. Seriously, I have never been able to get a sneakstrike on a construct.
I've only ever gotten it in the sneakstrike training shrine.
funnily enough this was actually one of the harder clips to get because of that lol. had to constantly change the trajectory of where i was coming from, who to shoot first etc
@stevengrant4640yea wtf did he do at the end? Parry the explosion on the fused bomb shield? Or was it the weapon? It look so sick
@@demp11 the technique is called a “bomb shield block reset”! if you jump as the bomb on your shield goes off, it resets links gravity allowing him to jump again. the second jump gives him enough height to go into bullet time.
I have just get the stealth 3 effect through either meals or armour sets
What happens if you drop a rocket shield and an enemy pick it up? Will they fly upwards when using it against you?

@@jakob_0024 If your on version 1.2.0 you should try using quick smuggling on a spring shield for infinite bounce and bullet time it might help for some cool tricks (im pretty sure you can do this on 1.0.0 which your probably on)

Range is so OP in this game. My whole bow inventory is filled with Savage Lynel (5x32) bows but ive actually been using less of them and weaker weapons just to challenge myself because killing frox, lynel, gleeok, ect has gotten too easy BECAUSE of bows.
ya fully agree, in order to make a video like this i had to rely a lot on ranged weapons to not be seen. i considered using my glitched 5x royal guard bow but it would have been overkill lol

Either way man, great content, and great gameplay! I bought the game day of release but I still haven't fought the boss yet because on principle I want to fight him with heros aspect armor haha, so I'm doing all side adventures and shrines first.

i have an invisible spring on my shield in the second clip! in the 2:03 sequence i have a puffshroom on my shield and it pops when you shield surf, i edited out me switching to it. hope this answered your question!

personally not a fan of editing out all the item selection screens because 1. we can't really see what you're doing so we can't try it ourselves, 2. it's a very inaccurate portrayal of what combat gameplay is actually like, and 3. quick and efficient item selection is a skill of its own and a part of advanced combat.
