It’s a term commonly used to describe a seat that is flat, but not 180 degrees compared to the floor of the aircraft. This was probably 160 degrees or so.
This is “low cost,” while for $460 you can’t even fly business on Delta/AA/United from the west coast to the east coast in the US in a business seat that doesn’t recline to flat ….
@viktorkhan8518 Almost all US flights above 2 hours have food options. It is up to you to pay and/or request them. The distance between New York and LA is about an additional 600 miles.
$440 is already what Delta was asking me for Dallas to Dulles. For *economy*. Flying in the US sucks because the only other 2 viable options in most cases is the bus or driving yourself, with amtrak lines being handicapped.
thats actually because the a330-343 used in tway fleet are former Thai Airasia X planes. Not sure if they're leased or they bought the plane from them.
because it is an ex thai air asia aircraft, they were sold off to other airlines as Air Asia X which is why a lot of these budget carriers are now using Ex Air Asia Z aircraft, they sold it off when they were ordering their new A330 Neos
flew with t’way back in 2019 before the pandemic, it was from Seoul to Singapore, 6h flight just like you, it was amazing. Definetely would fly with T’way still.
This is literally all I need. I just want to be horizontal. Air New Zeland got the ball started with those economy beds but this knocks it out of the park. Zip Air too!
was just on the same flight seoul to bkk with air asia premium flat bed, the angled lie flat kinda sux since it didnt offer a lot of back support, but it was a way better experience than economy
Lovely cabin, but angled lie flats are a total bummer. A throwback to Business Class days of yore. I’d just as soon have economy - or at least Premium Economy.
she literally gave it to him. theres a diff between asking and being OFFERED something. its like saying "why did you take the upgraded business seat instead of economy and let someone else have the BC seat."
@@OneApollo do you randomly give snacks to people around the plane? People don’t do that. She’d only think to give it to him if he was saying something that made her think that would pacify him.

He paid $460 each way from Seoul To Bangkok. There you go you don’t have to listen to a bunch of inane nonsense to find this out. I did it for you also that doesn’t seem that cheap.

That's what I think. Lufthansa and Air France premium have the same settings except that we can't lie at that wide angle. Still cheaper than those companies premium seats.

If you are overly long with feet in proportion... angle flat is actually much more comfortable. IMHO.
Spot on! 😂👍
@@NonstopDanso, in essence it is not flat.
guys a flat surface is not the same as a level surface and the fact that y’all are up in here arguing about it is too funny 😂
T’Way is actually not bad, it’s just the tour groups that bring down the experience sometimes😭

@@paulbailey2263 all airlines are safe. Think about the statistics. You are more likely to die in a car crash than a planecrash.

Some small airlines, out of the thousands in existence, are indeed unsafe.
Flew Thai on the same route for 550$. Actual flat bed, good food, champagne, real amenity kit. Much better value in my opinion
460 USD one way seems expensive in Asia for a budget airline. I’m not the biggest ThaiAirways fan but they are better than this one shown here IMHO.
550 USD return flight with business class???
550 in economy one way. No way that can be Biz Class
I just checked, 425 USD one way Business Class with ThaiAiways, Seoul to BKK. And that’s a great full business class experience by a Level 1 airline.
460 usd in baht is actually VERY expensive for me

plus its a 6 hour flight
Yeah, he stole it by force 😂
American, that’s why
She GAVE it to him, I’m sure he didn’t grab it. And it’s not like she made that snack, the airline gave it to her to give to passengers.
For that price, I can't even get a basic economy ticket flying from NY to NJ 💀💀💀
I'm flying for 10 dollars from Milan Italy to Romania 💀💀

He said East AND South East Asian
Same thing yellow people with bad manners
Didn't he include EAST Asia?
being in logistics and hearing “low cost carriers with flatbeds” means something much different than it does in this context LOL

Dan, thank you for a great video and amazing tips, a long time follower, wishing you a prosperous 2024
Awesome job dan.
This is not a flat bed or a lie-flat. It is a business class recliner.
Flat bed that is not a flat bed 😂 it’s basically premium economy on any other airline.
Dublin to Faro with Aer Lingus is cheaper at $100 each.
Whats the airline?
My favorite part is when he says he airline, ensuring those who are low vision or using assistive devices can hear.
my favorite part is watching you realize that those people wouldnt be here and even so, the comments exist
Also try Condor, their A330neo‘s business is one of the best in Germany in my opinion and it‘s sometimes extremely cheap if you book out of season.
