This is a special collaboration with Martin of @BushcraftBuddy - make sure you check out his video as he will be doing the same but using German issued gear • USA vs. Germany | Mili...

You are a mountain man, man. I have very similar gear just less of it. I'm 71 but don't take me for granted. I'm built for speed.
Keep at it Sir!
@@STOKERMATIC Always, until I die.
At 63, Brothers & built for setting my feet in the concrete & holding fast.., I had/have all my Dreams Lived and I’m prepared for come what will, as a TRUE & BLESSED American. How could anything eclipse these times - signing in, but not yet out, in the Rural SE Georgia Oaks-N-Pines w/ my kith & kin. God Bless America🇺🇸
Anything else, ZILCH. 🇺🇸
“Always Out Front!”
Wp= Willie Pete. Got "funny" training (60mm) stories about that. Nobody got hurt.
I was only issued the old 782 gear from WW2 and Vietnam Era and utilities starchies until I got to Camp Lejeune in late '76 . Then I got Cammies and ALICE pack. Great load out discussion. Today my load out is my key to my truck, several guarts water, clip folder and pocket knife, granola bars TOILET PAPER AND WIPES, self defense tools, my cane, common sense and a smile. Not as tough as I used to be.
good stuff man
ALICE brings back fond memories -- particularly when the weather changes.
My group and I did a small 3.5-mile ruck yesterday . We packed as a multi day mission with patrol base in mind . My pack , chest rig, and rifle were around 50 lbs . There were various changes in terrain and elevation with 2 small water crossings. For me, it was the most weight I have carried. I made it in a respectable time frame, but I am feeling it in my thighs today.
I don't know how to tell you this any other way than you're just playing with it. Your average infantry rifleman carries that much weight before they even put on their ruck sack. Never mind a machine gunner.
Is he mainline infantry? No? Maybe he has a different equipment list then.
Awesome Load Out Stoker. Always good to see how others have their gear on them. Also nice to see someone else use the old school LCE.
Great for as you said, 1-3 days But there's always that Murphy out there waiting on us lol. Great video sir.
White Phosphorus…. Willie Pete. Did many 782 gear layouts over the years.
Nice load loadout, Top.
I have a similar load out but with a H-harness that I prefer and a Large Alice since that's what they issued us.
Rock on Brother
Awesome Video, Bill! Really love the hack with the pegs attached to the poncho. Cheers and all the best, Martin 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Stay light! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I LIKE IT! Minimalist gear carried by ALICE herself - just the way God intended! Love the 'multi-tropical' - never seen before. Great job Stoker!
It’s a Willie Pete container, great load out!!!
🏴☠️🥃
Whiskey Pete. I have one too. Great containers, very hard to find
I really like the simplicity of your kit and the redundancy of specific items. I just have to pick on your medical kit, though.
Please get a vented chest seal pair, a decompression needle, and at least one more tourniquet. These supplies are small, light, and will keep you breathing.
The celox gauze is a great choice!
Consider some trauma shears as well. Great video!
Its a White Parachute Flare container.
I really dig your no bullshit fast pace about the gear, people talk for hours about a mylar blanket these days
When I was in 8” self propelled artillery, wp meant white phosphorus.
I really like how you have multiple redundancies. I was thinking about adding on a handheld chainsaw to my kit. Also each of your items have multiple uses which is also important.
I also run old school gear and love it. I dont run a pack but run a light weight chest rig. Thanks for sharing.
White parachute star cluster
Old school.... and still relevant.
Solid kit . I have been watching Martin for a couple of years now. Good video. Have a great evening
Cool vid thanks for sharing!
Great video, very informative
Good setup is an understatement. Your packed for success!
Good stuff, you both have a new subscriber, thanks for the effort.
Thanks
It means "WIlly Peter"...if ya know, you know!
Thanks for sharing!
About how I pack for up to 72hrs, but I build my own MRE's with 2000 calorie intake daily or higher in mind, and I always carry up to 6 protein bars on my person, for emergency situations.
Use a Garmin foretrex for exact grids, a flare gun and some road flares
Nice to see the 2of you 2working together.
I just wish there was a bro in arms from Russia too.
Greetings from germany m8.
Better than most.
Willie P my brother.
M34 White Phosphorus Smoke Grenade or "Willie Pete" was a smoke / incendiary grenade manufactured by Rocky Mountain Arsenal from the late 1950s
Great video my brother
73s to ya. Great video.
thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking good man!
Hey amigo!!
I also use ALICE, it's what I used in the Army back in the late 80's and early 90's. I use the H type shoulder straps but other then that I carry much of the same gear. 👍🇺🇸
Cool stuff
I had to get a new Alice pack, mine finally gave up the ghost after all these years. Kinda like losing an old friend.
I feel ya!
Willie Pete baby
🥃🥃
Nice set up got to add and subtract a few things on my set up but it's very similar to your set up.
I pack a Garmin Inreach just in case. I have a few heart attacks under my belt. You can get texts out where there is no cell coverage. I also pack bear spray because I have grizzly bears in my area and they really frown on just shooting them. I also have a bump helmet with a powerful head lamp on it. I am getting old and clumsy. I also back two knives on me both full tang. Not a fan of rat tail knives. The one is also a tanto point which I am digging. I pack a 308 boom stick. Again my AO has larger than average bumps in the night. Great Video! Thank you!
WP = Willie Pete. Sky flare likely.
I LIKE YOUR GEAR BRO 💪👍
Two time champs...🤣🤣🤣🤣fck yeah, Stoker...so funny. 🇺🇸💪🏽🤘🏽
🇺🇸
Great stuff Mr. Stoker. Imo. Add in some Vetbond to your kit and youre golden.
it's nice to see the love for LBE and A.L.I.C.E.
my Y harness has 4 mag pouches, butt pack, two 1qt canteens, an issue bayonet on the left w/pistol mag pouch and my right side an issue flap holster for the M9 Beretta. my Colt 1911 Series 70 fits snugly into it , both sides of the butt pack have the issue first aid kit w/hard plastic box insert.
yes, it's all A.L.I.C.E. clips.
my Large A.L.I.C.E. had a new issue dry bag(I think the heavy duty contractor trash bags work better), a camp axe on the right exterior and an E tool on the left.
it's been a decade or two since I've actually loaded it out for going outdoors, and I've added a 10x10 aqua quest tarp for a shelter. even still have 2 shelter half poles for the old canvas shelter half, took the steel tent stakes out years ago.
the top cover compartment stores protractors and writing material. Stockard and Yale compass stays in my front BDU pocket(actually stays in the truck these days) MREs in the exterior pouches and two more canteens on the exterior. and a MRE pouch to store maps and protractor/pencils go in an exterior pouch.
fire starting kit(Nesbit) is in one of the smaller exterior pouches, cordage in another and a box of pogie bait in the middle one.
bungie cords I will have to add.
RAD!
8:00 right here is the best🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tuned out when you said your waterproof notebook was in the pocket of your very non flannel shirt. Everyone knows it belongs in a pouch on your Spiritus Micro Mk4.
Your beard is looking awesome
I hope you can do a video on your Camelback with sawyer in-line.
The maintenance on canteens, camelback, water storage containers overall is confusing to me.
@stokermatic Multicam Tropic is a good match in Mountain Laurel :)
awesome video man..if sh.. hit the fan and you have to lose Backpack, stuff on you is important also
👍
Alice is the way, the truth, and the light.
When you are down low in your poncho shelter, do you ever encounter pigs or cats, or snakes? Or are you not worried because you are armed?
Did you do anything to better waterproof your bags/gear? Beeswax? Thanks.
👍
You need extra socks, lol.
Couple questions; How long is this pack intended for? Do you ever pack small parts for the boomstick? Like firing pin or keeper? How much does that set-up weigh? Good video. Subscribed.
Wollie Peter aka White Phosphorus.
Where did you get your multi-cams tropic shirt I like it and I'd like to get one
Stoker who made your multicam tropical shirt ?
What brand is your MC Tropic shirt? Thanks
Question
Why the I.R. strobe ?
What is the weight of your pack ?
W-P - white phosphorus? Or Wojsko Polskie - Polish Army.
Is that also the Tactical Taylor Alice Frame? I've been debating picking one up
It is!
👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍!!!!
One thing I need to get done, is to refurbish the leather handle on my K-Bar, any ideas on how to get it healthy again? keep up the awesome work
neatsfoot oil. Can use peanut oil too.
@@STOKERMATIC excellent, thank you kindly
I've had my classic ka-bar since '85 and love it but they have some newer models in different sizes and there are several other good blades that work well also (Gerber LMF II and Esse)
I am old school on the video for 50 meter shoot in woods just fyidepends on time of year and stealth 300 bo is great for surpression but in winter when plants are gone I use a 708mm bolt action for all around 650.00 cost . however if I only had one chioce it would be 300bo hut would have to carry 2 ammo 125 grain for distance 220 grain for quite in different mags. can banish gold 30 optics very 1000.00 gun verys on set up 1000.00 to 1500.00 keep in mind if I only have one gun for everything. just my personel opion.
Old timers have told me to remove the suspender clips & use cord to attach to the pistol belt.
Chlorine dioxide Vs Iodine?
Ka-Bar vs a bayonet? Or, a smaller, lighter fix blade like the ESEE-4 ?
The extra speed reload on front is a great idea
Idk if i missed it but wheres the pistol go?
Is that a suppressor in the thumbnail? What is that?
When we did OP/LP’s for the LP side we carried a set of pvs-7’s. Do you carry any NV or Thermal on a patrol?
Just the thermal shown. Dont have nvd.
What kind of backpack/alice-system is this please? i'd like to copy :D

@@STOKERMATIC thank you sir :-)
What are you patrolling?
🇺🇸⚔️
Willy pete ie White phosphorus
One question: where are NVGs?
Don’t use em.
@@STOKERMATIC Could you elaborate on it? I'm really curious about your point of view, as NVGs become "have it or die" devices, at least in UA-cam circles.
White Phosphorous .
What's the deal about the comment about the com, I don't get it?
White phos
White phosphorus
Where's the MULE to carry all that stuff 🤔
looks like commie tube lube deleted my comment! Oh well.
Enjoy both videos but obviously partial to the Stoked load out - martin didnt have a rifle so win stoked right off the jump.
good stuff... "everybody was keyboard fighting" :) lol nice touch with the key board going off...
⛷️🏂❄️❄️
you need socks all the time
white phosphorous
Old School need to Up-date to 2024; nothing is pure black in the real world but cave darkness.
Dude you were a pog for your whole career. And went to Kuwait and Afghanistan once. Why do you continue to make patrol vidoes.
@RetardOlympics why do you idiots watch this nerds vidoes haha 😂
Boomer approved gear! Just kidding. Nice load out.
👍
