- This video will be more about motorcycle jackets than climate change.
However, I wonder how much it was about the frequently changing weather that influenced my decision to buy these jackets, and how much it was simply because of my constant desire to improve everything as well as the temptation to take advantage of promotions.
In the case of a longer trip, once we are moving between different areas where the weather situation may be different, in addition, we are riding for a longer period of time, and this means that the temperature at the start of our trip may differ greatly from the weather we will face after many hours of travel.
I will share with you my decision to purchase as many as 9 motorcycle jackets. I think that now, after taking into account my early choices, I would have made a completely different decision, and I hope that this review will help perhaps some of you to avoid going through this and, above all, perhaps it will help you to avoid the expense, which was rather not small.

I am curious about your opinion how you solved the problem of clothing especially during long trips with the weather changing frequently and very limited luggage space at the same time?

I live in Chile and in summer we often have 33 34 degrees in the part were I live. Down south is 34-27 in summer, and we struggle with the heat...
Am using the alpine stars Bogata pro system which is able to be opened up to more or less a mesh suit or shut down to a fully sealed one. It has a inner/outer membrane so it’s your choice how to wear it and I then layer with Klim base and mid layers under, the liner with the jacket is ok but by comparison to a down jacked mid it’s not as good. I have ridden this set up in anything from-5 up to 40+ and in pouring rain to light drizzle and it has been excellent
I'm just checking out this jacket on Alpinestars website - looks interesting
@ have done 20k miles in it now and wearing well for a less expensive suit never had a leak except in the usual neck area and ridden in most of the weather Europe can throw at it. Sadly a very under reviewed suit as it’s excellent
@@happyhalfwit8862 thanks for sharing this experience, that's what's most valuable when someone shares their own experience especially after riding such long distances, I've already bought too many of these jackets but I'll be very seriously interested in this model, I'll try it on at Alpinestars showroom
