As an illustrator, I tend to overwork my watercolors quite a bit, so I’ve always very very much admired artists who demonstrate so much freedom with their painting techniques. It’s something I’m trying to break out of. It’s absolutely amazing how much personality your brushstrokes convey with just two brushes, fabulous!
Wonderful portrait. I like how you show your palette to match the shot as you apply your brush to the page. I'm always amazed at how you gauge your colours. I paint in oils and the colour I put down is the colour it is when dry. You have the added artistic demand of having gauge the darker, wet colour as to what it will be when dry. Gauging your tones in that scenario is truly impressive. Bravo! I love your channel; your videos are interesting and soothing all at once. 👍👍

Amazing! You make it look so easy. I tried watercolor Once. And only wants. Lol I all bank and I don't have any problems controlling that Medium but the water, the watercolor has a mind of its own. I could not control best medium. Watercolor since I've got older fascinates me. It is just so beautiful. And people like you has mastered it. Makes me more try my hand at it again.
