The info is out there. They "found each other" like Steely Dan found each other. The bassist hires and fires contract talent much like Becker and Fagen did. It's business. Having said that, yes they're great.

Brad, the human metronome on drums, is able to knock out a vocal like that at the same time he is drumming.....talk about talent. Excellent job by the whole band. Brads voice is perfect for this. He does it so very well. Jakes guitar sound for the intro, allows you to close your eyes and it takes you back to a time when you first heard this classic, taking you back to a happy place in your youth. Thank you HSCC for another classic from my younger years. 🙏

Brad Polain is a really nice bloke to meet after a live show. So welcoming and appreciative of us as fans.
Again just brilliant. As a lead singer / drummer for 32 years I can absolutely appreciate what it takes the band and the sound Engineers when you sit up front and sideways. I loved being able to sit and see everyone and interact. Due to age onset muscular dystrophy I am no longer able to play or sing. So I am living through you my brother!

As always...Outstanding! When one of my Bass pupils ask me how bass should sound and accompany, i often route them out to these videos. Constantine is such a Consistent (pun intended) bass player!!!

Kudos to Brad for being able to concentrate on the drums while singing at the same time! Released in Oct 1986, it was Crowded House's biggest hit in the U.S., reaching #2 on Billboard Hot 100 in April 1987. It came out when I was a freshmen in college. Can still remember the video to this day. My goodness, has it been 37 years already? (4/11/23)

Man, my 1st time seeing this group. But that drummer in the back can really really sing. At first i was wondering where is this good voice coming from? I'm so used to seeing Crowded House guitarist Neil Finn singing from the front of the band. Then, foolish me, I finally realized that it is the guy sitting in the back on the drums singing like Frank Sinatra. WOW, he's so good !
Sounds almost as good as the original band. Kudos! love it.
