Do supply hoses not need insulation anymore? I noticed the water heater that was just installed at my home didn’t have insulation on them. I also noticed in the video the same thing. Just a general question.
Why does the water heater need to be that far off the ground? Edit: Also, nice work. I wish I could hire you to do mine, if you lived where I am, and I wasn't poor.
Why do you need to heat hot water? Do people really need boiling water tanks? Personally I am happy with my normal "water heater", but that's just me? Also is there a difference between installing a "water heater" and installing a "HOT water heater"?
For northern houses with boilers for steam radiators, 'hot water heater' is the unit (the subject of this video) that supplies hot water to the faucets. Different from the boiler. It sounds redundant like 'ATM machine' but its not. Think of it like "hot water" heater. If you just say water heater for a house that has both units it could mean either the boiler or the HWH so I think that's where the term HWH came from. In the south we just call them water heaters since we have no boilers.

He soldered instead of pro pressed at the point of connection coming out the wall incase another plumber has to remove it. If he presses it, other plumbers after him have to make a closer cut to the wall instead of heating it up & removing the fitting

If people don't like hot water heaters, they should try a cold water heater. The difference is amazing.

@CSballer89 water heaters only go up to 140 degrees if you want it hotter than that it has to go through a boiler
