Awesome job! One small point for you for future reference, My dad who worked on A-1's told me when I built mine that, The A-1 leaked oil like crazy. If the center line tank was attached and the Crew Chief or Pilot didn't see a lot of oil on the drop tank or on the ground, they would ground the aircraft. No oil leak ment the engine was damaged. Once again, great job!

Where did they leak oil from? Considering building this kit

Crazy fact: although it came out too late to serve in WW2, the Skyraider was used a lot in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. Well, better late than never. Some planes never even get a chance to prove themselves.

Very nice. I'm looking into buying this kit (and Tamiya's 1/48 Thunderbolt), as I tried building model aircraft in small 1/72 scale, but I wasn't satisfied doing such tiny models, aside from my two Lancasters. So the Thunderbolt and Skyraider will be my first foray into 1/48 scale.

Your rocket pods are on backwards, or was that something to scare enemy Migs?

    • @ArdeconHobby

this is the right position, my friend the purpose of the head cover is for aerodynamic design, the cover will be released before the rocket fires.

The nose cone reduced drag -- it was frangible and broke up when the rickets fired. The launcher was normally reloaded manually while still.mounted and the cone was often left off.

Ha már ilyen videókat csinál, legalább a kezeit tegye rendbe, főleg a körmeit mert undorító és az embernek hányingere támad... nagyon sokat levesz a videó értékéből sajnos..

Thanks for the concern, my friend but sometimes we can't avoid the the dirt of paint in my nail or in my fingers maybe I must be careful for the next more projects and make sure that you will always be my guide in my work, happy buld!

Nonsense. You can wear disposable gloves if you're concerned about leaving paint. But hardworking hands often still look dirty even after cleaning. Nothing disgusting about working hard.
