I was going to say I can't believe you made them one piece. I made mine 2 piece the top opens up and the bottoms swing forward. But I broke the edges of my doors, not sure really which way would be better.... using flat strap or angle iron or breaking the edges. But either way it gets the job done. But my box doesn't go all the way across except for about 10" section for the tanks to slide into. I built an air compressor between my boxes so I had air for my plasma cutter or what ever else I may need air for. My compressor tank is 20x40 sitting in between the 2 upper boxes.
@@haroldphipps3457 that's a good idea.... Want to donate to the fund? Those are out of reach for a guy trying to get a new rig put back together on disability. I can still do the work..... for now.... but as soon as I got the label of terminal nobody will touch me do to I am an insurance risk.
@@davidcrumrine1165 well, by all means, do not go to a salvage yard and get used doors and track, and cut them down to the size you need! Only option is to order up brand new. REAL fabricators only use new shit. SMH.
What welding helmet are you using .looks like it has a wide viewing area . Great video, thanks for sharing .Wishing you and your family all the best for 2022
Love seeing a a welder building his own bed, its like your resume. When ya roll up and the customer see's your rig they know you can fabricate!

what did you say between 1:25-1:30? It didn't sound right?????
Good stuff. You da man
I have been waiting for this to see how you did your doors.... I am putting the same type box on my welding rig.
I still some figuring left to do…
Get rollup doors like a beverage body.
And heavy tow trucks. And fire trucks.
