The guy has a website you can buy that filter from, also. I believe it was 140 for one I think prices of bait tanks have more to do with the popular boost in 20 -21. You didn't see many average fishman with bait tanks before 2020.
Bait tanks are crazy expensive just like everything else nowadays. It's pretty ridiculous what this country has come too. That small bait tank with the shiners is a good one if it's kept those shiners alive for four days. Probably time for a water change though. You're always thinking about how to improve what you have while trying to save a buck or two & that's what keeps coming back to your channel. 🙂👍
in all honestly, everything went up. Did boats not go up? I bought my tracker for 16K and today the same tracker costs 25K. A 3000 sq f. house went from 400K to 700K. just in 3 years from 2020 to 2023. How much did these minnows that u put in the tank cost 5 years ago? How much did worms cost in Walmart 5 years ago? If u want to talk to the real culprit, The FED printed $6 trillion from 2020 to 2023. There is 50% more dollars in circulation today compared to 5 years ago.
Many factors did hurt other areas. Aluminum costs going through the roof hurt the boating industry. Homes had the perfect storm of issues causing them to skyrocket. Its been a wild past few years but not enough to justify a 200% price increase of bait tanks. Inflation was 19.33% since 2020.
@@Capt_Billy Milk, eggs, bread... how about Trucks? Trucks almost doubled since 2020. The stock markets definitely doubled since 2020. Gold and Bitcoin almost doubled. You are talking about government reported inflation, but I don't think many people will agree with u on that number. They are printing money like its monopoli money.
Inflation has Everything crazy expensive. Good video Billy!
Thanks!

How much for some tomatoes?
We were selling them for $1 a pound during the summer.
It probably costs them about $90 to make a $1800 tank.
