about to buy my first greenshocker bag tomorrow, just started getting in the 80s and bermuda lawn is still brown with a little green. might wait to apply but excited!
Glad ur going into detail about fertilizing before a projected rain because ive be scared that what i put down would be washed away (in a heavy rain of course).
Absolutely gorgeous! I’ve enjoyed watching your property progress. Watched you for years now. Started while trying to learn about Georgia lawn and garden but now in West Texas. Completely different climates but your info is still relevant even here.
Just found your channel. Wow, i have a lot to learn. Moving from Montana to a house on a lake in Georgia. Everything in MT is Kentucky Blue. My new property is Bermuda grass and red clay. All this is new to me.
Doc, You usually have very interesting video’s on many topics. I have learned some good tips from many, and appreciate your logical approach to all your projects. I am curious though about your newest property ( I thing in GA) where you have been working so hard on. In some of your video’s, you are “Armed”, is there a specific reason for this? Do you have dangerous animals you may encounter, or just feel the need to promote your 2A right on your property? Not a big deal, was just wondering. Additionally, you have mentioned you were in the US Marines, thank you for your service!
Thanks for the very informative video as usual. Instead of creating another lawn, I think a big area planted with wildflowers and pollinators would be beautiful and also beneficial to your garden. Just a thought.
Doc, clover seems to be less fragile than other species in the face of pre-emergent treatment. Would you please do a video that address how to remove clover from spot-infiltration into a lawn?
I find anymore that for dry fert i use scotts turf builder...fast release and xtra fine granular size...and its cheaper than the rediculous 70$ plus a bag for others. Typically i just ride the perma green or use a backpack to get down a foliar app of food
@howtowithdoc what about making the area that you’re going to turn into another lawn into a native shrub area? American Holly, Azalea, etc. some work up front, but almost no work later and provides food and habitat.
Doc, any chance you could plant centipede in the next space? Would like to get your expertise. Love the content, have learned a lot, keep up the good work
Where can I purchase the green shocker? I went on Amazon they have andersons' but it is not what you have. It is not black. I want what you have. Thank you.
Haven't seen your videos in quite some time, and wow your property looks fantastic now! Great work, Doc!
Thanks

LOL Doc how timely, as I am watching this video it's starting to rain over here in Cumming.
Doc,

The DEER HOA doesn't allow it. So they all show up in the middle of the night and eat it in protest.
Beautiful property, Happy seeding...!
Thanks Doc!
Great video Doc. I learn so much from you. Thanks.
Very welcome

Always good info, Doc. Can I put down preemergent today if I plan on pre germinating my bermuda grass seed in a couple months?
I just Subscribed & am excited to have found you! When you mention spraying your weeds, what do you use, please, & is it organic? Thanks! Cheers!
That area would make a nice flower bed
Looking good Doc! Were the fish bitting?

How often do you fertilize
could a person use green shock as a pre germinated seed mix or is it too fine thanks
You must live near me, cause I have two days of rain coming as well. Well its hear today (friday) and is supposed to rain tomorrow.
Is the NEW DGL going to look the same as green shocker?
When is DGL coming out?
@howtowithdoc what about making the area that you’re going to turn into another lawn into a native shrub area? American Holly, Azalea, etc. some work up front, but almost no work later and provides food and habitat.
Deer would destroy it.
How often can you put down Greenshocker in the Summer? Is more often than once a month okay?
As long as there is rain or irrigation every two weeks is fine IF NEEDED.
Looking great! Curious what's your EDC?
Hey Doc, what lawn irrigation system are you using for your property? Looking to upgrade my home system
Doc, any chance you could plant centipede in the next space? Would like to get your expertise. Love the content, have learned a lot, keep up the good work
It's about 70% shade so we'll have to mix.
Hey doc, that front lawn would make a nice little par 3. Whadaya think?😅
What do you do with the trapped raccoons?
HEY DOC.... are you going to plant wild flowers around the perimeter of the garden??
Yes... we put down wheat straw the other day. Seeds are ordered.
@@HowTowithDoc Good 👍
hi Doc, since you are touching the green shock with your bare hands, I assume that it is also safe for pets to walk on before seeping into the ground
100% it's just nitrogen and humic. No worries.
What irrigation system do you use?
Rachio
@@HowTowithDoc thank you Doc!
Do or did you do gold panning videos?
I’d kill to get greenshocker here in Australia
Where can you pick up this Product call green. Shocker.
How do you keep the birds from eating your fruit off of your trees? I have peaches and plums. The birds ruin or eat over half of them.
We only planted last year.
Whelp, at least that plane wasn't a Boeing ;-)
@ temp of 150° to 153° in the summer heat if you do not water it. Would it catch on fire 🔥?
No... but that would make a great video if it did.
Do you have a video on your irrigation system install?
Don't think we did one on this property
Read directions on the bag.
Nice
Still looking to try and keep the PRG thru the summer in parts of the property? Or are you transitioning all to Bermuda during summer?
It's only on the back... we'll see how it goes.
@@HowTowithDoc when did you seed the Bermuda? Which video shows that? I'll look back.
It's illegal in my county to apply nitrogen fert before expected rain
🤡
Where can I purchase the green shocker? I went on Amazon they have andersons' but it is not what you have. It is not black. I want what you have. Thank you.
It's linked on that page direct to andersons.
If you have Bald Eagles in the area they may be fishing in your pond soon 🐟🦅
We all have to eat.... 🙂
Haven't seen any videos on your beach house lately.
Me either
How is Ryan your son doing?
He's good... do miss the daily father / son time though.
@@HowTowithDoc glad he is doing good👍🏿👍🏿the farm looks amazing just order me some green shocker keep up the awesome videos.
You an army veteran doc?
Marine I believe
USMC
Why you just can't add it to the gallons of water and spray it down?
Just wouldn't make sense. You'd be better off with a liquid concentrate.
@@HowTowithDoc OKAY THANK YOU.
$50 for 15lbs seems expensive.
Looks like soy sauce 😂😂😂
😂😂
Wings tonight
That’s a ugly house
I know... I keep saying that.
