    The tiny sleigh.. would be so cute on a christmas wreath and very easy to do..🎄
    The multi color basket for easter with a bow and eggs and little ducky. 🐥
    The spell book looks like a spelling book a child might have for school..📚.
    The sideboard is beautifully done. The dividers in the drawers were a great, although hidden jewel of that piece..🏆
    You've gotten some really nice top notch pieces for your collection.🤗..
    .(I'm a new subscriber, ..💻..And very new to the hobby.( I'm hoping to learn lots and have fun while were doing it)...🏡
    p.s....I LOVE the green print couch toward the back of your display surface. ..🛋️...It reminds me so much of the couch we had in the 60/70's in my childhood home....🤔......
    Well..Again, ...Thanks for sharing...🏡

    I collected those German miniature animals too as a kid. It’s my one ‘throw away’ that I regret. I bought most of mine in a funky used bookstore in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA.

      I love them so much they are probably the only thing i saved from childhood. The good new is you can still get them on ebay but it gets expensove cause for each little guy it could be 5 bucks shipping which drives the cost up. So ive been buying little groups of them even if its just to buy the one i really want. Thanks for watching. Maybe when i get them in the curios ill do a little video of my collection. I just havebt decided where to put them

    I have a similar story as you, the girl who lived a house over from me in Nj, had a nice dollhouse, she had nice everything, I remember specifically she had a yellow room and those hair ties with the colorful balls on the ends, like Jan on the Brady Bunch, for some reason that sticks in my memories, but anyway, I always wanted one like hers, a real wood dollhouse that I could decorate with real looking furniture, but I never got one, then at the age of 39, I had a lovely surprise little girl. When my daughter was about 4 I decided I would get her that dollhouse I never had, and until she is old enough to have it, I will have it and decorate it and get it ready to hand over to her. Im 45 now and I still dont have that dollhouse ready to set up, though I do have many pieces of furniture and decor I have slowly been collecting and making. I just have always loved miniature things

    You can convert your formerly electric light fixtures to battery. Ive got an entire house on all battery lights now, and it was so much easier than wiring.

      Id love to know how to do that i found some electric lights on sale recently. If i can learn how id make a video of it.

  • @luvsdvds
    @luvsdvds 8 місяців тому +2

    The video has no audio. I turned on the captions so I was able to follow your explanations of the items. You got some really nice things in your haul! The collectors case is gorgeous! The living room furniture you got is really very nice. I agree with the posters who suggested to you to use battery lights. It really adds life to the dollhouse and it is so much easier to maintain! I have had nightmares with wiring under the wallpaper, and then it develops problems years later.

    • @AllisAllAboutminis
      @AllisAllAboutminis  8 місяців тому +1

      Dont know why you had no sound thats odd. Anyway yes battery lights are the way to go. They are expensive to buy so i plan on making them using some fairy lights and buying them here and there when theres a good deal. 😁

    • @luvsdvds
      @luvsdvds 7 місяців тому +1

      @@AllisAllAboutminis -- You are so creative that I feel you can create your own, or adapt non-lighted lamps, chandeliers, etc (which usually are less costly) by adding the LED bulbs. I think we will soon be viewing your "lighting a dollhouse with fairy lights" videos. By the way, the video has the sound today, so it may have been a hiccup with my computer.

      @@luvsdvds thank you so much for your very kind words. Im finding myself in a bit of a creative lull lately . Im working on the bookcase for the library and im just not getting it done. Anyway i do have lots of idea for lighting. 😁

      @luvsdvds 7 місяців тому +1

      @@AllisAllAboutminis -- You are welcome, but I really just expressed the way I feel. We all go through creative lulls, but they usually don't last long. So just make sure to jot down your ideas, especially if they come to you in the middle of the night!
      Looking forward to your updates on the library. Sometimes talking about what you are doing will generate a nice brain storming with friends and it will get your creative juices flowing and you'll end up with tons of ideas and even more enthusiasm for your project.

    I know this is an older video but I got to look at your little lights that go on the walls you might be able to find little earrings that resemble that and just flip them to make them look like little lamps... In fact I think I've got a pair myself I might try that.

      @@AllisAllAboutminis some of the dangly earrings, the ones that have little jewels and pearls you might be able to clip the pointy part that goes through your ear off and attach them to your wall to make them look like wall lamps. Imagine you've got an earring that has a tiny Pearl and a big pearl stacked on each other kind of like a snowman, cut the metal backing off at the point there and attach it to your wall. Or you could attach it to say a small button to make it stand up, depending on the size of the earrings and buttons they can be the right height for a table lamp, I've done it that way yesterday trying it out and it looked nice.. I hope I'm making sense.
