Today we’re going to add new pieces to our remodeled barbie kitchen from Amazon. I hope you enjoy this step by step tutorial. This kitchen was designed to be the perfect size for Barbie dolls in a 1:6 scale.

This is really so beautiful!! I love your colors!! I also really appreciate how you explain every step along the way. I have a kitchen that I want to remodel too. I watched the first segment but I think I want to rewatch it. I'm nervous about spray painting the cabinets with the imitation glass. On another project I was thinking of using the ends of craft sticks for handles but I love how your button handles came out. I love building things for doll rooms. I love those kinds of videos!

I love this so much! This would be hard and time consuming, but a dollar store kitchen made entirely from foamboard might be fun to make! Thank you for all your great ideas!
It would. But I would never use dollar store foam board. it’s just not great quality. I normally buy it from Walmart. they haven’t had it in stock for a while but there foam board was only $0.98

Love what you an your mum have done, my only thing is I find the units low so I’d have to raise it on foam board by 10mm and add kick boards at the bottom, also I love your verses when you and your mum create the same room in your owns styles ❤ do you build them into a doll house..? And are you doing a dining room too 😊 I struggle with your measurements as we do cm and millimetres in the uk 🙈
I plan on adding the kick board in part 3. I just ran out of time. Oh and I want to add a pull out garbage.
I did the same thing I raise the whole kitchen and put a toe kick in.
I know what you mean by measurements. A lot of channels use mm & cm and I get totally confused as I'm used to inches. I spend a lot of time googling the measurements

in part 3, you can make a kinda country-inspired kitchen island with this color story, that would be perfect!! TAT) this video is really beautiful, informative, and relaxing at the same time. Wish I can find this kitchen set too just so I could custom it like yours!! You really paid attention to the details just from the way you want all the kitchen tiles lining up together!! ✪ ω ✪ its really worth it seeing the final results!! and I love this teal/satin/mint color, its my favorite color!!

I’m going to use some of those ideas to create my own. In order to bring the counters up to waist height I’m going to have to add some sort of a platform to the bottom.

No I stick with 1/6 scale. But Ive always thought if you cut all my measurements in half they should work for 1/12 in theory. I haven't tested it. Have you tried printing any of my printables at 50%?

How in the world do you get such beautiful, straight, precise cuts? I have a ruler exactly like yours, but no matter what, I go crooked. LOL! My blade is sharp, my eyes aren't, I guess. I have made several things from your videos and mine just don't come out as perfect as yours. *sigh. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I always look forward to finding one I haven't seen before.
Hmm... I always make sure to put even pressure on my ruler so if need to stop my blade and move my hand down I do. Make sure if you're cutting on an edge that's already been cut that it's truly straight. Make sure your side top and bottom are all square with your ruler. Hmm... Maybe I need to do a more in-depth cutting tutorial. I'm just thinking of all the stuff I probably do naturally from years of practice.

Hi there. I'm wondering if the height was considered against the height of the doll. I'm interested in buying this kitchen but are worried it's too short.
I'm planning on doing a part 3 to this video because I do think the kitchen could be a little taller. It needs to be about a 1/2 taller.

Would someone please clarify and/or point me where to find the correct Craft Stick sizes for the drawers in part 10:30 and part 12:50?
It is a 1 1/4th inch by 10 inch craft stick it’s either called a Giant or a jumbo (I don’t have the package anymore. ) I bought them from Walmart.
