Thanks for the play around. I can see now why this DB Version could be adding structure and make things easier. The possibilty to edit all books at once is exiting when having hundreds of books in your database. Still, there seem to be some pre-alpha problems or maybe just things that aren´t intuitive at the moment.

Thanks for the video! The devs could probably use this as a user testing session 😄

Haha I hope it can help any of the devs out and it was fun to play around with so win-win I think :). THank you for the kid comment

You need to apply the tag to the page (using the configuration button) and that automatically adds the properties of the tag, no need to use the template on the first block like before.

I think the problem you were having is that you were applying the tag inside the page which is technically the next bullet down. Rather you should be typing the tag on the same bullet at the title as you would in Tana.
    - Book Title #books
    Not
    -Book Title
    - #books
Haven’t finished the video yet, so if you already figured this out just ignore me. 😂
My hope if that you’ll be be able to just type Book Tile #books wherever you are and it automatically makes it into a page. No need for double brackets nor need for clicking into the link. This would be huge productivity leap for Logseq users.

That is a very good point. Had not thought of that. Was thinking still like the old Logseq was as opposed to putting a tag whereever. Will play around some more. Thanks for the tip

What DrunkonTech is suggesting is the way of applying a #class to a block. BUT you can also apply it to a page if you enter the page, then "configure" it (by hovering over the title) and choose a #class in the "tags" field. Not sure if that is the intended way of tagging pages, but it works.

Hi and thanks for the video. Has improved the startup time?

Thank you very much. I was using the web version and seems pretty quick to me. I would be interested to see how it behaves once more notes are in there. Will try it out once a more updated release is published.

You can just check logseq-db-demo.pages.dev/. Use at your own risk as it is in pre-alpha at the moment.
